2024-11-28lib: utils/i2c: Use fdt_driver for initializationSamuel Holland1-7/+1
The i2c driver subsystem does not need any extra data, so it can use `struct fdt_driver` directly. It always initializes the driver for a specific DT node. Signed-off-by: Samuel Holland <samuel.holland@sifive.com> Reviewed-by: Anup Patel <anup@brainfault.org>
2024-08-24lib: utils/i2c: Constify FDT pointers in parsing functionsSamuel Holland1-2/+2
Indicate that none of these functions modify the devicetree by constifying the parameter type. Signed-off-by: Samuel Holland <samuel.holland@sifive.com> Reviewed-by: Andrew Jones <ajones@ventanamicro.com> Reviewed-by: Anup Patel <anup@brainfault.org>

The "driver" pointer in struct i2c_adapter is not used anywhere so let us remove it. Signed-off-by: Anup Patel <apatel@ventanamicro.com> Reviewed-by: Xiang W <wxjstz@126.com>
2023-03-09lib: utils/i2c: Add minimal StarFive jh7110 I2C driverMinda Chen1-0/+21
Starfive JH7110 I2C IP is synopsys designware. Minimum StarFIve I2C driver to read/send bytes over I2C bus. This allows querying information and perform operation of onboard PMIC, as well as power-off and reset. FDT based I2C framework on the top of I2C library. The drivers are probed on demand by fdt_i2c_adapter_get function.
