2020-11-05x86: apl: Add core init for the SoCSimon Glass1-1/+19
Set up MSRs required for Apollo Lake. This enables Linux to use the timers correctly. Also write the fixed MSRs for this platform. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2020-05-18common: Drop linux/bitops.h from common headerSimon Glass1-0/+4
Move this uncommon header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2019-12-15x86: apl: Add a CPU driverSimon Glass1-0/+1
Add a bare-bones CPU driver so that CPUs can be probed. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2019-12-15x86: Make MSR_PKG_POWER_SKU commonSimon Glass1-1/+8
This is used on several boards so add it to the common file. Also add a useful power-limit value while we are here. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2019-10-08x86: Tidy up some duplicate MSR definesSimon Glass1-63/+43
Some MSR registers are defined twice in different parts of the file. Move them together and remove the duplicates. Also drop some thermal defines which are not used. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2019-10-08x86: Rename turbo ratio MSR to MSR_TURBO_RATIO_LIMITSimon Glass1-2/+1
This MSR number is used on most modern Intel processors, so drop the confusing NHM prefix (which might mean Nehalem). Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> [bmeng: drop MSR_IVT_TURBO_RATIO_LIMIT as no code uses it] Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2019-10-08x86: Add various MTRR indexes and valuesSimon Glass1-0/+22
Add some new MTRRs used by Apollolake as well as a mask for the MTRR type. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-03-17x86: Add some more common MSR indexesSimon Glass1-1/+40
Many of the model-specific indexes are common to several Intel CPUs. Add some more common ones, and remove them from the ivybridge-specific header file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
