This patch prepares Exynos IOMMU driver for deferred probing support. Once it gets added, of_xlate() callback might be called more than once for the same SYSMMU controller and master device (for example it happens when masters device driver fails with EPROBE_DEFER). This patch uses recently introduced device dependency links to track the runtime pm state of the master's device. The goal is to let SYSMMU controller device's runtime PM to follow the runtime PM state of the respective master's device. This way each SYSMMU controller is active only when its master's device is active and can properly restore or save its state instead on runtime PM transition of master's device. This approach replaces old behavior, when SYSMMU controller was set to runtime active once after attaching to the master device. In the new approach SYSMMU controllers no longer prevents respective power domains to be turned off when master's device is not being used. This patch reduces total power consumption of idle system, because most power domains can be finally turned off. For example, on Exynos 4412 based Odroid U3 this patch reduces power consuption from 136mA to 130mA at 5V (by 4.4%). The dependency links also enforce proper order of suspending/restoring devices during system sleep transition, so there is no more need to use LATE_SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS-based workaround for ensuring that SYSMMUs are suspended after their master devices. This patch adds runtime pm implementation, which is based on previous suspend/resume code. SYSMMU controller is now being enabled/disabled mainly from the runtime pm callbacks. System sleep callbacks relies on generic pm_runtime_force_suspend/pm_runtime_force_resume helpers. To ensure internal state consistency, additional lock for runtime pm transitions was introduced. To avoid possible races, set master device pointer in each SYSMMU controller once on boot. This patch add support for page access protection bits. Till now this feature was disabled and Exynos SYSMMU always mapped pages as read/write. Now page access bits are set according to the protection bits provided in iommu_map(), so Exynos SYSMMU is able to detect incorrect access to mapped pages. Exynos SYSMMU earlier than v5 doesn't support write-only mappings, so pages with such protection bits are mapped as read/write. Signed-off-by:

Few architectures like x86, ia64 and s390 derive the cache topology and all the properties using a specific architected mechanism while some other architectures like powerpc all those information id derived from the device tree. On ARM, both the mechanism is used. While all the cache properties can be derived in a architected way, it needs to rely on device tree to get the cache topology information. However there are few platforms where this architected mechanism is broken and the device tree properties can be used to override these incorrect values. This patch adds support for overriding the cache properties values to the values specified in the device tree. ARM64 enables both CONFIG_OF and CONFIG_ACPI and the firmware can pass both ACPI tables and the device tree. Based on the kernel parameter, one of the two will be chosen. If acpi is enabled, then device tree is not unflattened. Currently ARM64 platforms report: " Failed to find cpu0 device node Unable to detect cache hierarchy from DT for CPU 0 " which is incorrect when booting with ACPI. Also latest ACPI v6.1 has no support for cache properties/hierarchy. This patch adds check for unflattened device tree and also returns as "not supported" if ACPI is runtime enabled. With CONFIG_OF enabled on x86, we get the following error on boot: " Failed to find cpu0 device node Unable to detect cache hierarchy from DT for CPU 0 " and the cacheinfo fails to get populated in the corresponding sysfs entries. This is because cache_setup_of_node looks for of_node for setting up the shared cpu_map without checking that it's already populated in the architecture specific callback. In order to indicate that the shared cpu_map is already populated, this patch introduces a boolean `cpu_map_populated` in struct cpu_cacheinfo that can be used by the generic code to skip cache_shared_cpu_map_setup. This test module tries to test asynchronous driver probing by having a driver that sleeps for an extended period of time (5 secs) in its probe() method. It measures the time needed to register this driver (with device already registered) and a new device (with driver already registered). The module will fail to load if the time spent in register call is more than half the probing sleep time. As a sanity check the driver will then try to synchronously register driver and device and fail if registration takes less than half of the probing sleep time. Signed-off-by:

dw_pcie_iatu_unroll_enabled() reads a dbi_base register. Reading any dbi_base register before pp->ops->host_init has been called causes "imprecise external abort" on platforms like ARTPEC-6, where the PCIe module is disabled at boot and first enabled in pp->ops->host_init. Move dw_pcie_iatu_unroll_enabled() to dw_pcie_setup_rc(), since it is after pp->ops->host_init, but before pp->iatu_unroll_enabled is actually used. The two patches from Dave Anglin are important. The first one avoids trashing the sr2 and sr3 space registers in the Light-weight syscall path. Especially the usage of sr3 is critical since it may get trashed by the interrupt handler. The second patch is even more important and tagged for stable series. It protects one critical section in the syscall entry path by disabling local interrupts. Race condition between registering an I2C device driver and deregistering an I2C adapter device which is assumed to manage that I2C device may lead to a NULL pointer dereference due to the uninitialized list head of driver clients. The root cause of the issue is that the I2C bus may know about the registered device driver and thus it is matched by bus_for_each_drv(), but the list of clients is not initialized and commonly it is NULL, because I2C device drivers define struct i2c_driver as static and clients field is expected to be initialized by I2C core: i2c_register_driver() i2c_del_adapter() driver_register() ... bus_add_driver() ... ... bus_for_each_drv(..., __process_removed_adapter) ... i2c_do_del_adapter() ... list_for_each_entry_safe(..., &driver->clients, ...) INIT_LIST_HEAD(&driver->clients); To solve the problem it is sufficient to do clients list head initialization before calling driver_register().
