Completing 457e492d / #59

reduce dependency on libgcrypt to make it possible to eventually remove it as a dependency on windows

fix a bug that prevented showing volumes properties when a volume was opened with a custom config path + had its entry on the favorites list

error out early when trying to use a custom config file path on a backend that does not support them + various changes and improvements
