2023-01-08include/hw/pci: Split pci_device.h off pci.hMarkus Armbruster1-1/+1
PCIDeviceClass and PCIDevice are defined in pci.h. Many users of the header don't actually need them. Similar structs live in their own headers: PCIBusClass and PCIBus in pci_bus.h, PCIBridge in pci_bridge.h, PCIHostBridgeClass and PCIHostState in pci_host.h, PCIExpressHost in pcie_host.h, and PCIERootPortClass, PCIEPort, and PCIESlot in pcie_port.h. Move PCIDeviceClass and PCIDeviceClass to new pci_device.h, along with the code that needs them. Adjust include directives. This also enables the next commit. Some typedefs and macros are defined after the type check macros. This makes it difficult to automatically replace their definitions with OBJECT_DECLARE_TYPE. Patch generated using: $ ./scripts/codeconverter/converter.py -i \ --pattern=QOMStructTypedefSplit $(git grep -l '' -- '*.[ch]') which will split "typdef struct { ... } TypedefName" declarations. 2019-08-16include: Make headers more self-containedMarkus Armbruster1-0/+2
Back in 2016, we discussed[1] rules for headers, and these were generally liked: 1. Have a carefully curated header that's included everywhere first. We got that already thanks to Peter: osdep.h. 2. Headers should normally include everything they need beyond osdep.h. If exceptions are needed for some reason, they must be documented in the header. If all that's needed from a header is typedefs, put those into qemu/typedefs.h instead of including the header. 3. Cyclic inclusion is forbidden. This patch gets include/ closer to obeying 2. It's actually extracted from my "[RFC] Baby steps towards saner headers" series[2], which demonstrates a possible path towards checking 2 automatically. It passes the RFC test there. Cleaned up with scripts/clean-header-guards.pl, followed by some renaming of new guard symbols picked by the script to better ones. 2018-01-24apb: rename apb.c to sabre.cMark Cave-Ayland1-0/+52
This is the final stage in correcting the naming convention with respect to sabre, APB and PBM. It is effectively a file rename from apb.c to sabre.c along with touching up a few constants to remove the remaining references to APB. Note that as part of the rename process the configuration variable CONFIG_PCI_APB is changed to CONFIG_PCI_SABRE.
