2023-02-27hw: Replace qemu_or_irq typedef by OrIRQStatePhilippe Mathieu-Daudé1-2/+0
OBJECT_DECLARE_SIMPLE_TYPE() macro provides the OrIRQState declaration for free. Besides, the QOM code style is to use the structure name as typedef, and QEMU style is to use Camel Case, so rename qemu_or_irq as OrIRQState. Mechanical change using: $ sed -i -e 's/qemu_or_irq/OrIRQState/g' $(git grep -l qemu_or_irq) Signed-off-by: Philippe Mathieu-Daudé <philmd@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Stefan Hajnoczi <stefanha@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Alistair Francis <alistair.francis@wdc.com> Message-id: 20230113200138.52869-5-philmd@linaro.org Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org>

2020-01-23hw/core/or-irq: Increase limit of or-lines to 48Guenter Roeck1-1/+1
Exynos DMA requires up to 33 interrupt lines (32 event interrupts plus abort interrupt), which all need to be wired together. Increase the maximum number of or-irq lines to 48 to support this configuration. 2019-08-16Include hw/irq.h a lot lessMarkus Armbruster1-1/+0
In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/irq.h triggers a recompile of some 5400 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get qemu_irq and.or qemu_irq_handler. Move the qemu_irq and qemu_irq_handler typedefs from hw/irq.h to qemu/typedefs.h, and then include hw/irq.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 500 objects. 2018-06-15hw/core/or-irq: Support more than 16 inputs to an OR gatePeter Maydell1-1/+4
For the IoTKit MPC support, we need to wire together the interrupt outputs of 17 MPCs; this exceeds the current value of MAX_OR_LINES. Increase MAX_OR_LINES to 32 (which should be enough for anyone). The tricky part is retaining the migration compatibility for existing OR gates; we add a subsection which is only used for larger OR gates, and define it such that we can freely increase MAX_OR_LINES in future (or even move to a dynamically allocated levels[] array without an upper size limit) without breaking compatibility. 2018-03-02include/hw/or-irq.h: Add missing include guardPeter Maydell1-0/+5
The or-irq.h header file is missing the customary guard against multiple inclusion, which means compilation fails if it gets included twice. Fix the omission. 2017-10-16include/hw/or-irq.h: Drop unused in_irqs fieldPeter Maydell1-1/+0
The struct OrIRQState has an unused member field in_irqs. This is a legacy of earlier versions of the patch; the code that used it was dropped from the final version of the code that went into master, but we forgot to delete the no-longer-used struct field. Do so now. Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Alistair Francis <alistair.francis@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Tokarev <mjt@tls.msk.ru>
