2013-04-08hw: move private headers to hw/ subdirectories.Paolo Bonzini1-139/+0
Many headers are used only in a single directory. These can be kept in hw/. Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2013-04-08hw: move headers to include/Paolo Bonzini1-8/+8
Many of these should be cleaned up with proper qdev-/QOM-ification. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches. 2013-03-01hw: include hw header files with full pathsPaolo Bonzini1-7/+7
Done with this script: cd hw for i in `find . -name '*.h' | sed 's/^..//'`; do echo '\,^#.*include.*["<]'$i'[">], s,'$i',hw/&,' done | sed -i -f - `find . -type f` This is so that paths remain valid as files are moved. Instead, files in hw/dataplane are referenced with the relative path. We know they are not going to move to include/, and they are the only include files that are in subdirectories _and_ move. 2013-01-21virtio-pci: refactor virtio-pci device.KONRAD Frederic1-2/+21
Create the virtio-pci device which is abstract. This transport device will create a virtio-pci-bus, so one VirtIODevice can be connected. Signed-off-by: KONRAD Frederic <fred.konrad@greensocs.com> Signed-off-by: Anthony Liguori <aliguori@us.ibm.com>

2013-01-07virtio-pci: cache msix messagesMichael S. Tsirkin1-0/+1

2013-01-07virtio: don't waste irqfds on control vqsMichael S. Tsirkin1-0/+1
Pass nvqs to set_guest_notifiers. This makes it possible to save on irqfds by not allocating one for the control vq for virtio-net. Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com>
2012-11-16virtio-rng: hardware random number generator deviceAmit Shah1-0/+2
The Linux kernel already has a virtio-rng driver, this is the device implementation. When the guest asks for entropy from the virtio hwrng, it puts a buffer in the vq. We then put entropy into that buffer, and push it back to the guest. 2012-05-21virtio-blk: define VirtIOBlkConfPaolo Bonzini1-2/+2

2012-05-21virtio/vhost: Add support for KVM in-kernel MSI injectionJan Kiszka1-0/+6
Make use of the new vector notifier to track changes of the MSI-X configuration of virtio PCI devices. On enabling events, we establish the required virtual IRQ to MSI-X message route and link the signaling eventfd file descriptor to this vIRQ line. That way, vhost-generated interrupts can be directly delivered to an in-kernel MSI-X consumer like the x86 APIC.
