2025-06-12hw/hyperv/syndbg: skip automatic zero-init of large arrayDaniel P. Berrangé1-1/+1
The 'handle_recv_msg' method has a 4k byte array used for copying data between the network socket and guest memory. Skip the automatic zero-init of this array to eliminate the performance overhead in the I/O hot path. The 'data_buf' array will be fully initialized when data is read off the network socket. 2024-12-19include/hw/qdev-properties: Remove DEFINE_PROP_END_OF_LISTRichard Henderson1-1/+0
Now that all of the Property arrays are counted, we can remove the terminator object from each array. Update the assertions in device_class_set_props to match. With struct Property being 88 bytes, this was a rather large form of terminator. Saves 30k from qemu-system-aarch64. 2022-05-03util: rename qemu_*block() socket functionsMarc-André Lureau1-1/+1
The qemu_*block() functions are meant to be be used with sockets (the win32 implementation expects SOCKET) Over time, those functions where used with Win32 SOCKET or file-descriptors interchangeably. But for portability, they must only be used with socket-like file-descriptors. FDs can use g_unix_set_fd_nonblocking() instead. Rename the functions with "socket" in the name to prevent bad usages. This is effectively reverting commit f9e8cacc5557e43 ("oslib-posix: rename socket_set_nonblock() to qemu_set_nonblock()").
