2022-04-11lib: rsa: Fix const-correctness of rsassa_pss functionsSESA6444251-2/+2
Prior to introduction of modifications in rsassa_pss functions related to padding verification, doing a pass to update const-correctness in targeted functions to comply with coding-rules and avoid const-cast Signed-off-by: SESA644425 <gioja.hermann@non.se.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

Add to support rsa 3072 bits algorithm in tools for image sign at host side and adds rsa 3072 bits verification in the image binary. Add test case in vboot for sha384 with rsa3072 algorithm testing. Signed-off-by: Jamin Lin <jamin_lin@aspeedtech.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2022-01-26image: Return destination node for add_verify_data() methodSimon Glass1-2/+3
It is useful to know where the verification data was written. Update the API to return this. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2021-10-08image: Use Kconfig to enable FIT_RSASSA_PSS on hostSimon Glass1-2/+0
Add a host Kconfig for FIT_RSASSA_PSS. With this we can use CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(FIT_RSASSA_PSS) directly in the host build, so drop the forcing of this in the image.h header. Drop the #ifdef around padding_pss_verify() too since it is not needed. Use the compiler to check the config where possible, instead of the preprocessor. 2021-07-16lib: rsa: Remove #ifdefs from rsa.hAlexandru Gagniuc1-47/+0
It is no longer necessary to implement rsa_() functions as no-ops depending on config options. It is merely sufficient to provide the prototypes, as the rsa code is no longer linked when unused. Signed-off-by: Alexandru Gagniuc <mr.nuke.me@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>

2020-07-11lib: rsa: export rsa_verify_with_pkey()AKASHI Takahiro1-0/+3
This function will be used to implement public_key_verify_signature() in a later patch. rsa_verify() is not suitable here because calculation of message digest is not necessary. Signed-off-by: AKASHI Takahiro <takahiro.akashi@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Heinrich Schuchardt <xypron.glpk@gmx.de>
2020-07-08lib: rsa: function to verify a signature against a hashHeiko Stuebner1-0/+21
rsa_verify() expects a memory region and wants to do the hashing itself, but there may be cases where the hashing is done via other means, like hashing a squashfs rootfs. So add rsa_verify_hash() to allow verifiying a signature against an existing hash. As this entails the same verification routines we can just move the relevant code over from rsa_verify() and also call rsa_verify_hash() from there. 2018-12-03rsa: add support of padding pssPhilippe Reynes1-0/+15
We add the support of the padding pss for rsa signature. This new padding is often recommended instead of pkcs-1.5. Signed-off-by: Philippe Reynes <philippe.reynes@softathome.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-12-03rsa: add a structure for the paddingPhilippe Reynes1-0/+13
The rsa signature use a padding algorithm. By default, we use the padding pkcs-1.5. In order to add some new padding algorithm, we add a padding framework to manage several padding algorithm. The choice of the padding is done in the file .its. Signed-off-by: Philippe Reynes <philippe.reynes@softathome.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2016-03-14Kconfig: Move CONFIG_FIT and related options to KconfigSimon Glass1-0/+2
There are already two FIT options in Kconfig but the CONFIG options are still in the header files. We need to do a proper move to fix this. Move these options to Kconfig and tidy up board configuration: CONFIG_FIT CONFIG_OF_BOARD_SETUP CONFIG_OF_SYSTEM_SETUP CONFIG_FIT_SIGNATURE CONFIG_FIT_BEST_MATCH CONFIG_FIT_VERBOSE CONFIG_OF_STDOUT_VIA_ALIAS CONFIG_RSA Unfortunately the first one is a little complicated. We need to make sure this option is not enabled in SPL by this change. Also this option is enabled automatically in the host builds by defining CONFIG_FIT in the image.h file. To solve this, add a new IMAGE_USE_FIT #define which can be used in files that are built on the host but must also build for U-Boot and SPL. Note: Masahiro's moveconfig.py script is amazing. 2014-08-09Implement generalised RSA public exponents for verified bootMichael van der Westhuizen1-0/+1
Remove the verified boot limitation that only allows a single RSA public exponent of 65537 (F4). This change allows use with existing PKI infrastructure and has been tested with HSM-based PKI. Change the configuration OF tree format to store the RSA public exponent as a 64 bit integer and implement backward compatibility for verified boot configuration trees without this extra field. Parameterise vboot_test.sh to test different public exponents. Mathematics and other hard work by Andrew Bott. Tested with the following public exponents: 3, 5, 17, 257, 39981, 50457, 65537 and 4294967297. 2014-06-19includes: move openssl headers to include/u-bootJeroen Hofstee1-0/+117
commit 18b06652cd "tools: include u-boot version of sha256.h" unconditionally forced the sha256.h from u-boot to be used for tools instead of the host version. This is fragile though as it will also include the host version. Therefore move it to include/u-boot to join u-boot/md5.h etc which were renamed for the same reason. cc: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Jeroen Hofstee <jeroen@myspectrum.nl>
