2023-01-20global: Finish CONFIG -> CFG migrationTom Rini1-1/+1
At this point, the remaining places where we have a symbol that is defined as CONFIG_... are in fairly odd locations. While as much dead code has been removed as possible, some of these locations are simply less obvious at first. In other cases, this code is used, but was defined in such a way as to have been missed by earlier checks. Perform a rename of all such remaining symbols to be CFG_... rather than CONFIG_... 2022-12-05global: Move remaining CONFIG_SYS_* to CFG_SYS_*Tom Rini1-1/+1
The rest of the unmigrated CONFIG symbols in the CONFIG_SYS namespace do not easily transition to Kconfig. In many cases they likely should come from the device tree instead. Move these out of CONFIG namespace and in to CFG namespace. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-07-13README: davinci: Clarify when SPL is used and the target devices.Adam Ford1-3/+7
The documentation states that SPL is enabled in all config options for the da850. This incorrect, because devices booting from NOR do not need the SPL to do the low level initializion because when booting from NOR, the board is able to execute in place (XIP) This also clarifies that SPL isn't only used for booting from SPI, because it is also used for booting from MMC and NAND for those devices supporting those boot options. 2010-11-19DA850 EVM: passing maximum clock rate information to kernelSekhar Nori1-0/+14
The TI DA850/OMAP-L138/AM18x EVM can be populated with devices having different maximum allowed CPU clock rating. The maximum clock the chip can support can only be determined from the label on the package (not software readable). Introduce a method to pass the maximum allowed clock rate information to kernel using ATAG_REVISION. The kernel uses this information to determine the maximum cpu clock rate reachable using cpufreq. Note that U-Boot itself does not set the CPU clock rate. The CPU clock is setup by a primary bootloader ("UBL"). The rate setup by UBL could be different from the maximum clock rate supported by the device. Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Sandeep Paulraj <s-paulraj@ti.com>
