2025-02-10qapi: Move include/qapi/qmp/ to include/qobject/Daniel P. Berrangé1-2/+2
The general expectation is that header files should follow the same file/path naming scheme as the corresponding source file. There are various historical exceptions to this practice in QEMU, with one of the most notable being the include/qapi/qmp/ directory. Most of the headers there correspond to source files in qobject/. This patch corrects most of that inconsistency by creating include/qobject/ and moving the headers for qobject/ there. This also fixes MAINTAINERS for include/qapi/qmp/dispatch.h: scripts/get_maintainer.pl now reports "QAPI" instead of "No maintainers found". Signed-off-by: Daniel P. 2024-12-20tests: Explicitly create containers in test_qom_partial_path()Peter Xu1-1/+1
Drop one use of container_get(), instead switch to the explicit function to create a container. Reviewed-by: Philippe Mathieu-Daudé <philmd@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Daniel P. 2022-04-21include: add qemu/keyval.hMarc-André Lureau1-0/+1
Do not require the whole option machinery to handle keyval, as it is used by QAPI alone, without the option API. And match the associated unit name. 2021-10-27qapi: Improve input_type_enum()'s error messageMarkus Armbruster1-1/+1
The error message claims the parameter is invalid: $ qemu-system-x86_64 -object qom-type=nonexistent qemu-system-x86_64: -object qom-type=nonexistent: Invalid parameter 'nonexistent' What's wrong is actually the *value* 'nonexistent'. 2021-03-19tests: convert check-qom-proplist to keyvalPaolo Bonzini1-22/+55
The command-line creation test is using QemuOpts. Switch it to keyval, since the emulator has some special needs and thus the last user of user_creatable_add_opts will go away with the next patch. 2021-03-12tests: Move unit tests into a separate directoryThomas Huth1-0/+638
The main tests directory still looks very crowded, and it's not clear which files are part of a unit tests and which belong to a different test subsystem. Let's clean up the mess and move the unit tests to a separate directory.
