WB 918 Transparency channel in captures: Had a git merging nightmare and a commit was lost and I think I have found all of the changes that were lost. Open Blending (opacity/transparency) did not function as I thought. Calling glBlendFunc(GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA) results in ALPHA values less than one in the frame buffer. Replacement is to use the call to glBlendFuncSeparate() as shown later in this comment. This function allows blending only the RGB values while preserving 1.0 as the alpha value. This corrects the colors when drawing so that colors are blended properly with 1.0 for the alpha channel. It also fixes the problems with image colors. The coloring is different between the two functions. To view the old coloring, uncheck "Separate RGB / Alpha Blending" in the Develop Menu.

glBlendFuncSeparate(GL_SRC_ALPHA, /* source (incoming) RGB blending factor */
GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA, /* destination (frame buffer) RGB blending factor */
GL_ZERO, /* source (incoming) Alpha blending factor */
GL_ONE); /* destination (frame buffer) Alpha blending factor */
