common - replace computed path area with area of the path's bounding box

The computation was incorrect for self-intersecting paths and could result
in real paths having zero area and not getting drawn. Since computed area
and centroid are no longer being used, agg_conv_centroid and all its
support are no longer needed and can be cleaned up.
