Release Notes for Valley Island BSP Release - September-4-2015

Explanation of files and directories included in this release :

valleyisland-2.0-dizzy-1.7.2.tar.bz2 -- Compressed Archive of meta-intel with meta-valleyisland directory.
valleyisland-2.0-dizzy-1.7.2.tar.bz2.md5sum -- MD5 digest of valleyisland-2.0-dizzy-1.7.2.tar.bz2
valleyisland-build-conf-2.0-dizzy-1.7.2.tar.bz2  -- bitbake build configuration (bblayer.conf & local.conf)

For General Release:
core-image-sato-valleyisland-32.hddimg
- is the 32-bit bootable image available in meta-intel/binary for
  Intel® Atom Processor E3800 with Intel Graphics for Linux driver as the integrated graphics.

core-image-sato-valleyisland-64.hddimg
- is the 64-bit bootable image available in meta-intel/binary for
  Intel® Atom Processor E3800 Intel Graphics for Linux driver as the integrated graphics.

Note: All prebuilt binary utilize a time-limited kernel by including the meta-tlk layer.
	  This encourages Yocto Project end users to build their own kernel image for their end product.

Instructions on how to use boot the Image are available in the
meta-intel/meta-isg/meta-valleyisland/README.

Please download the Poky build system to your development machine.

The meta-valleyisland contains support for Marvell 8897 Wireless/Bluetooth Card.
This require additional layers on top of the BSP's root layer by adding the layer dependencies to the BBLAYERS variable in order to build the BSP. For example:
BBLAYERS ?= "/path/meta-openembedded/meta-oe \"

To support Marvell 8897 module in AP mode and STA mode, add "hostapd iw dhcp-client dhcp-server" in the CORE_IMAGE_EXTRA_INSTALL in local.conf. For example:
CORE_IMAGE_EXTRA_INSTALL = "hostapd iw dhcp-client dhcp-server"
