Release Notes for Romley BSP Release - Nov-12-2013 ======================================================= Explanation of files and directories included in this release : ---------------------------------------------------------------- meta-romley-dora-10.0.0.tar.bz2 -- Compressed Archive of meta-intel with meta-romley directory. meta-romley-dora-10.0.0.tar.bz2.md5sum -- MD5 digest of meta-romley-dora-10.0.0.tar.bz2 meta-romley-build-conf-dora-10.0.0.tar.bz2 -- bitbake build configuration (bblayer.conf & local.conf) For General Release: core-image-sato-romley.hddimg is the bootable image available in meta-intel/meta-romley/binary for Sandy Bridge Machine. core-image-sato-romley-ivb.hddimg is the bootable image available in meta-intel/meta-romley/binary for Ivy Bridge Machine. Note: following guideline from Yocto project, all prebuilt binary is time-limited kernel. This encourages Yocto user to build their own kernel image in their end product. Instructions on how to use boot the Image are available in the meta-intel/meta-romley/README.
