2015-08-17hw/homer: Don't re-reserve homer rangesJeremy Kerr1-5/+20
Hostboot is going to cover these ranges with its own reservations (to allow access from the HBRT image), so don't overwrite reservations with our own. Signed-off-by: Jeremy Kerr <jk@ozlabs.org> Signed-off-by: Stewart Smith <stewart@linux.vnet.ibm.com>
2015-06-05core/mem_region: Create reservations of type REGION_HW_RESERVEDskiboot-5.0.3Jeremy Kerr1-3/+3
All current users of mem_reserve are actually wanting HW_RESERVED memory; these reservations are for memory initialised pre-skiboot. This change marks these regions as REGION_HW_RESERVED instead of REGION_RESERVED. We also rename mem_reserve to mem_reserve_hw to reflect this change. This fixes an issue where the PRD daemon cannot find reserved ranges (eg, the homer image) that have been created by skiboot itself. 2014-12-01Add tweaks to work in Mambo simulatorBenjamin Herrenschmidt1-1/+1
Mambo doesn't implement various things such as PBA SCOMs, LPC, ChipTOD, etc... It also provides a special console hook. This adds detection of Mambo via the /mambo node, and enables us to boot all the way to Linux. 2014-10-15Modify HOMER printouts in hw/homer.c to be (mostly) PR_DEBUG prlog callsStewart Smith1-9/+9
Having these in memory may be of benefit, but we don't need them out the serial console unless something fooey is going on. Signed-off-by: Stewart Smith <stewart@linux.vnet.ibm.com>
