2023-09-01util/selfmap: Use dev_t and ino_t in MapInfoRichard Henderson1-5/+7
Use dev_t instead of a string, and ino_t instead of uint64_t. The latter is likely to be identical on modern systems but is more type-correct for usage. 2023-08-08util/selfmap: Rewrite using qemu/interval-tree.hRichard Henderson1-45/+69
We will want to be able to search the set of mappings. For this patch, the two users iterate the tree in order. Signed-off-by: Richard Henderson <richard.henderson@linaro.org>
2021-07-26util/selfmap: Discard mapping on errorRichard Henderson1-12/+17
From clang-13: util/selfmap.c:26:21: error: variable 'errors' set but not used \ [-Werror,-Wunused-but-set-variable] Quite right of course, but there's no reason not to check errors. First, incrementing errors is incorrect, because qemu_strtoul returns an errno not a count -- just or them together so that we have a non-zero value at the end. Second, if we have an error, do not add the struct to the list, but free it instead. 2020-04-07linux-user: factor out reading of /proc/self/mapsAlex Bennée1-0/+78
Unfortunately reading /proc/self/maps is still considered the gold standard for a process finding out about it's own memory layout. As we will want this data in other contexts soon factor out the code to read and parse the data. Rather than just blindly copying the existing sscanf based code we use a more modern glib version of the parsing code to make a more general purpose map structure.
