2023-11-07tests/qtest: ahci-test: add test exposing reset issue with pending callbackFiona Ebner1-1/+85
Before commit "hw/ide: reset: cancel async DMA operation before resetting state", this test would fail, because a reset with a pending write operation would lead to an unsolicited write to the first sector of the disk. The test writes a pattern to the beginning of the disk and verifies that it is still intact after a reset with a pending operation. It also checks that the pending operation actually completes correctly. 2023-05-16tests/qtest: replace qmp_discard_response with qtest_qmp_assert_successDaniel P. Berrangé1-16/+15
The qmp_discard_response method simply ignores the result of the QMP command, merely unref'ing the object. This is a bad idea for tests as it leaves no trace if the QMP command unexpectedly failed. The qtest_qmp_assert_success method will validate that the QMP command returned without error, and if errors occur, it will print a message on the console aiding debugging. Signed-off-by: Daniel P. 2022-09-27tests/qtest: {ahci, ide}-test: Use relative path for temporary files for win32Bin Meng1-3/+18
These test cases uses "blkdebug:path/to/config:path/to/image" for testing. On Windows, absolute file paths contain the delimiter ':' which causes the blkdebug filename parser fail to parse filenames. 2022-05-03tests: move libqtest.h back under qtest/Marc-André Lureau1-1/+1
Since commit a2ce7dbd917 ("meson: convert tests/qtest to meson"), libqtest.h is under libqos/ directory, while libqtest.c is still in qtest/. Move back to its original location to avoid mixing with libqos/. 2021-05-14tests/qtest/ahci-test.c: Calculate iso_size with 64-bit arithmeticPeter Maydell1-2/+2
Coverity notes that when calculating the 64-bit iso_size value in ahci_test_cdrom() we actually only do it with 32-bit arithmetic. This doesn't matter for the current test code because nsectors is always small; but adding the cast avoids the coverity complaints. 2020-01-12test: Move qtests to a separate directoryThomas Huth1-0/+1954
The tests directory itself is pretty overcrowded, and it's hard to see which test belongs to which test subsystem (unit, qtest, ...). Let's move the qtests to a separate folder for more clarity.
