2020-10-02tests/docker: Remove old Debian 9 containersThomas Huth1-38/+0
We do not support Debian 9 in QEMU anymore, and the Debian 9 containers are now no longer used in the gitlab-CI. Time to remove them. 2020-07-11tests/docker: change tag naming scheme of our imagesAlex Bennée1-1/+1
We've been misusing the tag naming scheme for some time by overloading the post : section with the image type. Really it should be saved for the revision of that particular build. Move the details to the other side so we have: qemu/image-name with the implied :latest version added by the tooling. Suggested-by: Daniel P. 2020-03-17tests/docker: make "buildah bud" output similar to "docker build"Cleber Rosa1-1/+1
Podman users will most often be using buildah to build containers. Among the differences between "buildah bud|build-using-dockerfile" and a traditional "docker build" is that buildah does not run a container during build. To the best of my knowledge and experiments, this means that runtime variables, such as ENV from one base image will not propagate into another. The end result is that the location for the cross compiler binaries, defined in the base "qemu/debian9-mxe" image, are not passed through this image. Consequently, the cross compilers are not on PATH and the build fails. 2019-07-23tests/docker: Refresh APT cache before installing new packages on DebianPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé1-1/+2
Since docker caches the different layers, updating the package list does not invalidate the previous "apt-get update" layer, and it is likely "apt-get install" hits an outdated repository. 2019-07-23tests/docker: Set the correct cross-PKG_CONFIG_PATH in the MXE imagesPhilippe Mathieu-Daudé1-0/+3
This silents a bunch of warnings while compiling the Slirp objects: $ make [...] CC slirp/src/tftp.o Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. 2019-06-24ssh: switch from libssh2 to libsshPino Toscano1-1/+0
Rewrite the implementation of the ssh block driver to use libssh instead of libssh2. The libssh library has various advantages over libssh2: - easier API for authentication (for example for using ssh-agent) - easier API for known_hosts handling - supports newer types of keys in known_hosts Use APIs/features available in libssh 0.8 conditionally, to support older versions (which are not recommended though). Adjust the iotest 207 according to the different error message, and to find the default key type for localhost (to properly compare the fingerprint with). Contributed-by: Max Reitz <mreitz@redhat.com> Adjust the various Docker/Travis scripts to use libssh when available instead of libssh2. The mingw/mxe testing is dropped for now, as there are no packages for it.
