2019-12-18qemu_log_lock/unlock now preserves the qemu_logfile handle.Robert Foley1-2/+2
qemu_log_lock() now returns a handle and qemu_log_unlock() receives a handle to unlock. This allows for changing the handle during logging and ensures the lock() and unlock() are for the same file. Also in target/tilegx/translate.c removed the qemu_log_lock()/unlock() calls (and the log("\n")), since the translator can longjmp out of the loop if it attempts to translate an instruction in an inaccessible page. 2019-04-18qom/cpu: Simplify how CPUClass:cpu_dump_state() printsMarkus Armbruster3-22/+22
CPUClass method dump_statistics() takes an fprintf()-like callback and a FILE * to pass to it. Most callers pass fprintf() and stderr. log_cpu_state() passes fprintf() and qemu_log_file. hmp_info_registers() passes monitor_fprintf() and the current monitor cast to FILE *. monitor_fprintf() casts it right back, and is otherwise identical to monitor_printf(). The callback gets passed around a lot, which is tiresome. The type-punning around monitor_fprintf() is ugly. Drop the callback, and call qemu_fprintf() instead. Also gets rid of the type-punning, since qemu_fprintf() takes NULL instead of the current monitor cast to FILE *. 2019-01-22target/microblaze: Switch to transaction_failed hookPeter Maydell3-14/+17
Switch the microblaze target from the old unassigned_access hook to the transaction_failed hook. The notable difference is that rather than it being called for all physical memory accesses which fail (including those made by DMA devices or by the gdbstub), it is only called for those made by the CPU via its MMU. For microblaze this makes no difference because none of the target CPU code needs to make loads or stores by physical address.
