2021-10-29qapi: Generalize struct member policy checkingMarkus Armbruster1-9/+11
The generated visitor functions call visit_deprecated_accept() and visit_deprecated() when visiting a struct member with special feature flag 'deprecated'. This makes the feature flag visible to the actual visitors. I want to make feature flag 'unstable' visible there as well, so I can add policy for it. To let me make it visible, replace these functions by visit_policy_reject() and visit_policy_skip(), which take the member's special features as an argument. Note that the new functions have the opposite sense, i.e. the return value flips. 2021-07-23qapi: introduce forwarding visitorPaolo Bonzini1-0/+326
This new adaptor visitor takes a single field of the adaptee, and exposes it with a different name. This will be used for QOM alias properties. Alias targets can of course have a different name than the alias property itself (e.g. a machine's pflash0 might be an alias of a property named 'drive'). When the target's getter or setter invokes the visitor, it will use a different name than what the caller expects, and the visitor will not be able to find it (or will consume erroneously). The solution is for alias getters and setters to wrap the incoming visitor, and forward the sole field that the target is expecting while renaming it appropriately.
