Some typedefs and macros are defined after the type check macros. This makes it difficult to automatically replace their definitions with OBJECT_DECLARE_TYPE. Patch generated using: $ ./scripts/codeconverter/converter.py -i \ --pattern=QOMStructTypedefSplit $(git grep -l '' -- '*.[ch]') which will split "typdef struct { ... } TypedefName" declarations. 2020-05-30hw/m68k/mcf52xx: Replace hw_error() by qemu_log_mask()Philippe Mathieu-Daudé1-3/+7
hw_error() calls exit(). This a bit overkill when we can log the accesses as unimplemented or guest error. When fuzzing the devices, we don't want the whole process to exit. Replace some hw_error() calls by qemu_log_mask(). 2019-08-16Include hw/irq.h a lot lessMarkus Armbruster1-0/+1
In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/irq.h triggers a recompile of some 5400 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get qemu_irq and.or qemu_irq_handler. Move the qemu_irq and qemu_irq_handler typedefs from hw/irq.h to qemu/typedefs.h, and then include hw/irq.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 500 objects. 2015-06-22m68k: implement more ColdFire 5208 interrupt controller functionalityGreg Ungerer1-0/+14
Implement the SIMR and CIMR registers of the 5208 interrupt controller. These are used by modern versions of Linux running on ColdFire (not sure of the exact version they were introduced, but they have been in for quite a while now). Without this change when attempting to run a linux-3.5 kernel you will see: qemu: hardware error: mcf_intc_write: Bad write offset 28 and execution will stop and dump out. Right now there are many catch-all headers in include/hw/ARCH depending on cpu.h, and this makes it necessary to compile these files per-target. However, fixing this does not belong in these patches.
