2019-08-21audio: add audiodev properties to frontendsKővágó, Zoltán1-0/+6
Finally add audiodev= options to audio frontends so users can specify which backend to use when multiple backends exist. Not specifying an audiodev= option currently causes the first audiodev to be used, this is fixed in the next commit. In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/hw.h triggers a recompile of some 2600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). The previous commits have left only the declaration of hw_error() in hw/hw.h. This permits dropping most of its inclusions. Touching it now recompiles less than 200 objects. In my "build everything" tree, changing migration/vmstate.h triggers a recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience. Several other headers include it just to get VMStateDescription. The previous commit made that unnecessary. Include migration/vmstate.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 1600 objects. Several other headers include it just to get qemu_irq and.or qemu_irq_handler. Move the qemu_irq and qemu_irq_handler typedefs from hw/irq.h to qemu/typedefs.h, and then include hw/irq.h only where it's still needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 500 objects. 2019-03-11audio: use qapi AudioFormat instead of audfmt_eKővágó, Zoltán1-1/+1
I had to include an enum for audio sampling formats into qapi, but that meant duplicating the audfmt_e enum. This patch replaces audfmt_e and associated values with the qapi generated AudioFormat enum. This patch is mostly a search-and-replace, except for switches where the qapi generated AUDIO_FORMAT_MAX caused problems. Once there, there were lots of case where the ".fields" indentation was wrong: .fields = (VMStateField []) { and .fields = (VMStateField []) { Change all the combinations to: .fields = (VMStateField[]){ The biggest problem (appart from aesthetics) was that checkpatch complained when we copy&pasted the code from one place to another.
