2019-10-10fsdev: Add return value to fsdev_throttle_parse_opts()Greg Kurz1-1/+1
It is more convenient to use the return value of the function to notify errors, rather than to be tied up setting up the &local_err boilerplate. Signed-off-by: Greg Kurz <groug@kaod.org>
2019-08-16Include qemu/main-loop.h lessMarkus Armbruster1-1/+0
In my "build everything" tree, changing qemu/main-loop.h triggers a recompile of some 5600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). It includes block/aio.h, which in turn includes qemu/event_notifier.h, qemu/notify.h, qemu/processor.h, qemu/qsp.h, qemu/queue.h, qemu/thread-posix.h, qemu/thread.h, qemu/timer.h, and a few more. Include qemu/main-loop.h only where it's needed. Touching it now recompiles only some 1700 objects. For block/aio.h and qemu/event_notifier.h, these numbers drop from 5600 to 2800. For the others, they shrink only slightly. 2019-05-13Clean up header guards that don't match their file nameMarkus Armbruster1-3/+4
Header guard symbols should match their file name to make guard collisions less likely. Cleaned up with scripts/clean-header-guards.pl, followed by some renaming of new guard symbols picked by the script to better ones. 2018-02-09Include qapi/error.h exactly where neededMarkus Armbruster1-1/+0
This cleanup makes the number of objects depending on qapi/error.h drop from 1910 (out of 4743) to 1612 in my "build everything" tree. While there, separate #include from file comment with a blank line, and drop a useless comment on why qemu/osdep.h is included first. 2017-02-28fsdev: add IO throttle support to fsdev devicesPradeep Jagadeesh1-0/+39
This patchset adds the throttle support for the 9p-local driver. For now this functionality can be enabled only through qemu cli options. QMP interface and support to other drivers need further extensions. To make it simple for other 9p drivers, the throttle code has been put in separate files.
