2020-10-09monitor: Use getter/setter functions for cur_monKevin Wolf1-4/+4
cur_mon really needs to be coroutine-local as soon as we move monitor command handlers to coroutines and let them yield. As a first step, just remove all direct accesses to cur_mon so that we can implement this in the getter function later. Audio functions no longer access glob_audio_state, instead they get an AudioState as a parameter. This is required in order to support multiple backends. glob_audio_state is also gone, and replaced with a tailq so we can store more than one states. In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/hw.h triggers a recompile of some 2600 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h). The previous commits have left only the declaration of hw_error() in hw/hw.h. This permits dropping most of its inclusions. Touching it now recompiles less than 200 objects. 2019-03-11audio: use qapi AudioFormat instead of audfmt_eKővágó, Zoltán1-1/+1
I had to include an enum for audio sampling formats into qapi, but that meant duplicating the audfmt_e enum. This patch replaces audfmt_e and associated values with the qapi generated AudioFormat enum. This patch is mostly a search-and-replace, except for switches where the qapi generated AUDIO_FORMAT_MAX caused problems. Refactor the monitor API and prepare it for decoupled terminals: term_print functions are renamed to monitor_* and all monitor services gain a new parameter (mon) that will once refer to the monitor instance the output is supposed to appear on. However, the argument remains unused for now. All monitor command callbacks are also extended by a mon parameter so that command handlers are able to pass an appropriate reference to monitor output services. For the case that monitor outputs so far happen without clearly identifiable context, the global variable cur_mon is introduced that shall once provide a pointer either to the current active monitor (while processing commands) or to the default one. On the mid or long term, those use case will be obsoleted so that this variable can be removed again. Due to the broad usage of the monitor interface, this patch mostly deals with converting users of the monitor API. A few of them are already extended to pass 'mon' from the command handler further down to internal functions that invoke monitor_printf. At this chance, monitor-related prototypes are moved from console.h to a new monitor.h. The same is done for the readline API.
