I don't like the name `target_so_ops`, because:
- The name `target` is so overloaded, and in this case it's not even
related to target_ops or anything else called "target".
- We do have an implementation that actually fetches solibs from the
target (solib_target_so_op in solib-target.c), so it's confusing for
the "base class" to be called target_something as well.
Rename to solib_ops.

`struct so_list` was recently renamed to `struct shobj` (in 3fe0dfd1604f
("gdb: rename struct so_list to shobj")). In hindsight, `solib` would
have been a better name. We have solib.c, the implementations in
solib-*.c, many functions with solib in their name, the solib_loaded /
solib_unloaded observables, etc.
Rename shobj to solib.

This commit is the result of the following actions:
- Running gdb/copyright.py to update all of the copyright headers to
include 2024,
- Manually updating a few files the copyright.py script told me to
update, these files had copyright headers embedded within the
file,
- Regenerating gdbsupport/Makefile.in to refresh it's copyright
date,
- Using grep to find other files that still mentioned 2023. If
these files were updated last year from 2022 to 2023 then I've
updated them this year to 2024.
I'm sure I've probably missed some dates. Feel free to fix them up as
you spot them.

Now that so_list lists are implemented using intrusive_list, it doesn't
really make sense for the element type to be named "_list". Rename to
just `struct shobj` (`struct so` was deemed to be not greppable enough).

A subsequent patch changes so_list to be linked using
intrusive_list. Iterating an intrusive_list yields some references to
the list elements. Convert some functions accepting so_list objects to
take references, to make things easier and more natural. Add const
where possible and convenient.

solib implementations are typically used one at a time. So it will be
rare that you will want to enable debug for one solib kind, and
absolutely want to keep the others disabled. To make things simpler,
instead of adding separate variables / macros / commands for each solib
implementation, merge the existing ones (frv and aix) into a unified
"set/show debug solib", with the solib_debug_printf macro.

This changs solib_ops to be an ordinary gdbarch value and updates all
the uses. This removes a longstanding FIXME and makes the code
somewhat cleaner as well.

I noticed that solib_name_from_address returned a non-const string,
but it's more appropriate to return const. This patch implements
this. Tested by rebuilding.

Since commit aa2d5a422 gdb has been able to read executable and shared
library build-ids within core files.
Expand this functionality so that each core file bfd maintains a map of
soname to build-id for each shared library referenced in the core file.
This feature may be used to verify that gdb has found the correct shared
libraries for core files and to facilitate downloading shared libaries via
debuginfod.

scan_dyntag is unnecessarily duplicated in solib-svr4.c and solib-dsbt.c.
Move this function to solib.c and rename it to gdb_bfd_scan_elf_dyntag.
Also add it to solib.h so it is included in both solib-svr4 and solib-dsbt.

This patch started as an attempt to replace ALL_SO_LIBS with an

This commit applies all changes made after running the gdb/copyright.py
script.
Note that one file was flagged by the script, due to an invalid
copyright header
(gdb/unittests/basic_string_view/element_access/char/empty.cc).
As the file was copied from GCC's libstdc++-v3 testsuite, this commit
leaves this file untouched for the time being; a patch to fix the header
was sent to gcc-patches first.

This changes add_com to take a cmd_const_cfunc_ftype, and then fixes
up all the command implementations.
In most cases this is trivial.
In a couple of places I had to again introduce a temporary non-const
overload. These overloads will be removed when add_info is
constified.

This change adds the MI equivalent for the "info sharedlibrary"
command. The command was already partially documented but ignored as
it was not implemented. The new MI command works similarly to the CLI
command, taking an optional regular expression as an argument and
outputting the library information.
I included a test for the new command in mi-solib.exp.

This makes these flag types be "enum flag" types. The benefit is
making use of C++'s stronger typing -- mixing the flags types by
mistake errors at compile time.
This caught one old bug in symbol_file_add_main_1 already, fixed by
this patch as well:
@@ -1318,7 +1326,7 @@ symbol_file_add_main_1 (const char *args, int from_tty, int flags)

reinit_frame_cache ();
- if ((flags & SYMFILE_NO_READ) == 0)
+ if ((add_flags & SYMFILE_NO_READ) == 0)
set_initial_language ();
}
Above, "flags" are objfile flags, not symfile_add_flags. So that was
actually checking for "flag & OBJF_PSYMTABS_READ", which has the same
value as SYMFILE_NO_READ...
I moved the flags definitions to separate files to break circular
dependencies.
