This applies the second part of GDB's End of Year Procedure, which
updates the copyright year range in all of GDB's files.

Both of them are used in conversion. We can remove them since the
conversion is done.
There are many architectures only have one breakpoint instruction,
so their gdbarch methods breakpoint_kind_from_pc and
sw_breakpoint_from_kind look very similar. Instead of macro, we
use template "template <size_t, const gdb_byte *> struct bp_manipulation"
for these architectures. In order to use template, I also change
breakpoint instruction of type "static const gdb_byte[]" to
"constexpr gdb_byte[]", and rename them to ARCH_break_insn.

Many archs have only one kind of breakpoint, so their breakpoint_from_pc
implementations are quite similar. This patch uses macro
GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION and SET_GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION
for breakpoint_from_pc, so that we can easily switch from
breakpoint_from_pc to breakpoint_kind_from_pc and sw_breakpoint_from_kind
later.

This change causes reference, struct, and union arguments to be treated
the same as pointer arguments when determining the size of the value to
place into a register.
The case for doing this for reference arguments is obvious.
The msp430 ABI specifies that struct and union arguments are passed by
reference. This is why they're treated in the same manner as pointer
and reference arguments when computing the size of the value to place
into a register.
In my testing using this multilib...
msp430-sim/-msim/-mcpu=msp430x/-mlarge/-mdata-region=either/-mcode-region=either
... I find that the the following failures, 125 in all, are fixed by this
patch.

This patch is part of the make-gdb-buildable-in-C++ effort. The idea is
to change some calls to the xmalloc family of functions to calls to the
equivalents in the XNEW family. This avoids adding an explicit cast, so
it keeps the code a bit more readable. Some of them also map relatively
well to a C++ equivalent (XNEW (struct foo) -> new foo), so it will be
possible to do scripted replacements if needed.
I only changed calls that were obviously allocating memory for one or
multiple "objects". Allocation of variable sizes (such as strings or
buffer handling) will be for later (and won't use XNEW).

buildbot or people complaining that I broke their gdb.

This commit introduces a new inline common function "startswith"
which takes two string arguments and returns nonzero if the first
string starts with the second. It also updates the 295 places
where this logic was written out longhand to use the new function.

In a later patch we're going to change the minimal symbol address
calculation to apply section offsets at the point of use. To make it
simpler to catch potential problem spots, this patch changes the
representation of minimal symbols and introduces new
minimal-symbol-specific variants of the various accessors. This is
necessary because it would be excessively ambitious to try to convert
all the symbol types at once.
The core of this change is just renaming a field in minimal_symbol;
the rest is just a fairly mechanical rewording.
