This applies the second part of GDB's End of Year Procedure, which
updates the copyright year range in all of GDB's files.

Both of them are used in conversion. We can remove them since the
conversion is done.
There are many architectures only have one breakpoint instruction,
so their gdbarch methods breakpoint_kind_from_pc and
sw_breakpoint_from_kind look very similar. Instead of macro, we
use template "template <size_t, const gdb_byte *> struct bp_manipulation"
for these architectures. In order to use template, I also change
breakpoint instruction of type "static const gdb_byte[]" to
"constexpr gdb_byte[]", and rename them to ARCH_break_insn.

Many archs have only one kind of breakpoint, so their breakpoint_from_pc
implementations are quite similar. This patch uses macro
GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION and SET_GDBARCH_BREAKPOINT_MANIPULATION
for breakpoint_from_pc, so that we can easily switch from
breakpoint_from_pc to breakpoint_kind_from_pc and sw_breakpoint_from_kind
later.

There are a bunch of places where a void* is implicitely casted into a
gdb_byte*. The auto-insert-casts script added explicit casts at those
places. However, in many cases, it makes more sense to just change the
void* to a gdb_byte*.

Note: I needed to split this patch in two, otherwise it's too big for

This patch adds explicit casts to situations where a void pointer is
assigned to a pointer to the "real" type. Building in C++ mode requires
those assignments to use an explicit cast. This includes, for example:
- callback arguments (cleanups, comparison functions, ...)
- data attached to some object (objfile, program space, etc) in the form
of a void pointer
- "user data" passed to some function
This patch comes from the commit "(mostly) auto-generated patch to insert
casts needed for C++", taken from Pedro's C++ branch.
Only files built on x86 with --enable-targets=all are modified, so the
native files for other arches will need to be dealt with separately.
I built-tested this with --enable-targets=all and reg-tested. To my
surprise, a test case (selftest.exp) had to be adjusted.
Here's the ChangeLog entry. Again, this was relatively quick to make
despite the length, thanks to David Malcom's script, although I don't
believe it's very useful information in that particular case...

Most allocation functions (if not all) return a void* pointing to the
allocated memory. In C++, we need to add an explicit cast when
assigning the result to a pointer to another type (which is the case
more often than not).
The content of this patch is taken from Pedro's branch, from commit
"(mostly) auto-generated patch to insert casts needed for C++". I
validated that the changes make sense and manually reflowed the code to
make it respect the coding style. I also found multiple places where I
could use XNEW/XNEWVEC/XRESIZEVEC/etc.
Thanks a lot to whoever did that automated script to insert casts, doing
it completely by hand would have taken a ridiculous amount of time.
Only files built on x86 with --enable-targets=all are modified. This
means that all other -nat.c files are untouched and will have to be
dealt with later by using appropiate compilers. Or maybe we can try to
build them with a regular g++ just to know where to add casts, I don't
know.
I built-tested this with --enable-targets=all and reg-tested.

This patch is part of the make-gdb-buildable-in-C++ effort. The idea is
to change some calls to the xmalloc family of functions to calls to the
equivalents in the XNEW family. This avoids adding an explicit cast, so
it keeps the code a bit more readable. Some of them also map relatively
well to a C++ equivalent (XNEW (struct foo) -> new foo), so it will be
possible to do scripted replacements if needed.
I only changed calls that were obviously allocating memory for one or
multiple "objects". Allocation of variable sizes (such as strings or
buffer handling) will be for later (and won't use XNEW).

Some instances of xmalloc followed by memset to zero the buffer were

I regtested on x86-64, Ubuntu 14.04, but the patch touches many
architecture-specific files. For those I'll have to rely on the
buildbot or people complaining that I broke their gdb.

In infcmd.c:print_float_info, if the architecture doesn't have gdbarch
method print_float_info implemented and doesn't float reggroup, GDB
will prints "No floating-point info available for this processor."
The h8300 port doesn't have float registers, and don't need to
implement print_float_info. This patch is to remove it.

'13' is the ccr pseudo-register. This pseudo-register provides an
8-bit view into the raw ccr register (regno=8).
The problem is that the H8/300 port does not define a
register_sim_regno gdbarch hook, and thus when fetching the raw
register off of the sim, we end up in legacy_register_sim_regno trying
to figure out the sim register number for the raw CCR register:

Because the raw ccr register does not have a name (so that it is
hidden from the user), that returns LEGACY_SIM_REGNO_IGNORE. That
means that we never actually read the value of the raw ccr register.
Before the <unavailable> support, this must have meant that ccr was
_always_ read as 0... At least, I'm not seeing how this ever worked.
The fix for that is adding a gdbarch_register_sim_regno hook that maps
all raw registers. Looking at sim/h8300/sim-main.h, I believe the
sim's register numbers are compatible with gdb's, so no actual
convertion is necessary.

It turns out that a few places use "const static" rather than
"static const". The former is deprecated according to the C standard.
