2019-12-19Consistently quote variables used with "test"Christian Biesinger3-6/+11
This ensures that empty variables and variables with spaces are handled correctly. Code was inconsistent on whether the constant string (e.g. yes/no) should also be quoted; I tried to be consistent with surrounding code. This fixes the error Eli reported during configure with mingw (though that was not fatal). gdb/ChangeLog: 2019-12-19 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * configure: Regenerate. * configure.ac: Quote variable arguments of test. * gdbsupport/common.m4: Likewise. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: 2019-12-19 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * configure: Regenerate. * configure.ac: Quote variable arguments of test. 2019-12-19Fix build with GNU Make 3.81Bernd Edlinger2-4/+8
GNU Make 3.81 is apparently confused when the same source file is processed by a pattern rule and an explicit rule at the same time with different output file. The pattern %.o: ../%.c and alloc-ipa.o: ../alloc.c both have the source ../alloc.c but two independent object files alloc.o and alloc-ipa.o, so while building gdbserver I see the following message: make[4]: Circular alloc-ipa.o <- ../alloc.c dependency dropped. CXX alloc-ipa.o g++: warning: '-x c++' after last input file has no effect g++: fatal error: no input files compilation terminated. In the make debug output I see the pattern is first correct: alloc-ipa.o: ../alloc.c | config.h build-gnulib-gdbserver/import/string.h $(IPAGENT_COMPILE) $(WARN_CFLAGS_NO_FORMAT) $< $(POSTCOMPILE) But after the "Circular" dependency is dropped, the pattern is changed to: alloc-ipa.o: | config.h build-gnulib-gdbserver/import/string.h $(IPAGENT_COMPILE) $(WARN_CFLAGS_NO_FORMAT) $< $(POSTCOMPILE) So indeed now $< is empty, and the build step fails. This happens only when alloc.o needs to be built, when alloc.o was already built, the build succeeds, but it takes often several attempts until the build succeeds. By rewriting the alloc-ipa.c: ../alloc.c rule into a pattern rule, the problem goes away. While already at it, this patch removes also the $(WARN_CFLAGS_NO_FORMAT) from the build rule, which is just a copy/paste thing that is not necessary for alloc.c at all.
2019-12-16Constify get_exec_fileTom Tromey2-1/+5
I noticed that get_exec_file could return a "const char *". This patch implements this change. I couldn't build all the code -- but I did build Linux native and a mingw cross. Consequently, the NTO code has a hack, where it casts away const. I think this can be removed, but that required more work there, and since I couldn't compile it, I felt it best not to try. Let me know what you think. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-12-16 Tom Tromey <tromey@adacore.com> * windows-nat.c (windows_nat_target::attach): Update. * remote.c (extended_remote_target::attach): Update. * procfs.c (procfs_target::attach): Update. * nto-procfs.c (nto_procfs_target::attach): Update. 2019-12-10Replace the remaining uses of strerror with safe_strerrorChristian Biesinger9-42/+29
To do that, this patch makes IPA compile safe-strerror as well. Because it doesn't use Gnulib, it calls the Glibc version of strerror_r directly. Consequently this patch also removes the configure checks for strerror. gdb/ChangeLog: 2019-12-10 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * config.in: Regenerate. * configure: Regenerate. * gdbsupport/agent.c (gdb_connect_sync_socket): Call safe_strerror instead of strerror. * gdbsupport/common.m4: Don't check for strerror. * gdbsupport/safe-strerror.c: Support both the glibc version of strerror_r and the XSI version. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: 2019-12-10 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * Makefile.in: Add safe-strerror.c to gdbreplay and IPA, and change UNDO_GNULIB_CFLAGS to undo strerror_r instead of strerror. * config.in: Regenerate. * configure: Regenerate. * configure.ac: Don't check for strerror. * linux-i386-ipa.c (initialize_fast_tracepoint_trampoline_buffer): Call safe_strerror instead of strerror. * server.h (strerror): Remove this now-unnecessary declaration. * tracepoint.c (init_named_socket): Call safe_strerror instead of strerror. 2019-11-26Add RAII class for blocking gdb signalsTom Tromey5-9/+149
This adds configury support and an RAII class that can be used to temporarily block signals that are used by gdb. (This class is not used in this patch, but it split out for easier review.) The idea of this patch is that these signals should only be delivered to the main thread. So, when creating a background thread, they are temporarily blocked; the blocked state is inherited by the new thread. The sigprocmask man page says: The use of sigprocmask() is unspecified in a multithreaded process; see pthread_sigmask(3). This patch changes gdb to use pthread_sigmask when appropriate, by introducing a convenience define. I've updated gdbserver as well, because I had to touch gdbsupport, and because the threading patches will make it link against the thread library. I chose not to touch the NTO code, because I don't know anything about that platform and because I cannot test it. Finally, this modifies an existing spot in the Guile layer to use the new facility. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-11-26 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com> * gdbsupport/signals-state-save-restore.c (original_signal_mask): Remove comment. 2019-11-26Add configure check for std::threadTom Tromey5-2/+792
This adds a configure check for std::thread. This is needed because std::thread is not available on some systems, like some versions of mingw and DJGPP. This also adds configury to make sure that a threaded gdb links against the correct threading library (-lpthread or the like), and passes the right flags (e.g., -pthread) to the compilations. Note that this also links gdbserver against the thread library. This is not strictly necessary at this point in the series, but a later patch will change gdbsupport to use pthread_sigmask, at which point this will be needed. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-11-26 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com> * acinclude.m4: Include ax_pthread.m4. * Makefile.in (PTHREAD_CFLAGS, PTHREAD_LIBS): New variables. In MI mode, print_ada_task_info can crash in find_thread_ptid when trying to print an Ada task that is no longer alive. This patch avoids the problem by checking for this case. 2019-11-20Improve target description check for SVE in gdbserverLuis Machado4-1/+29
The current code checks for the presence of a SVE target description by comparing the number of registers. This is a bit fragile since the number of registers can change whenever we add new sets. Like PAC, for example. If the comparison breaks, then we're left with SVE registers in the description, but gdbserver doesn't send the registers to GDB, which in turn displays stale information to the user. The following patch changes the check to use the SVE feature string instead, which hopefully should be more stable. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: 2019-11-20 Luis Machado <luis.machado@linaro.org> * linux-aarch64-low.c (is_sve_tdesc): Check against target feature instead of register count. * tdesc.c (tdesc_contains_feature): New function. * tdesc.h (tdesc_contains_feature): New prototype. 2019-11-15Use gnulib's strerror_r on MinGWChristian Biesinger4-10/+10
There is no need to keep mingw-strerror around; we can just always use the code from posix-strerror. The main reason we had that code, it seems, is to handle winsock error codes, but gnulib's version handles those. Unfortunately the code can't be moved into common-utils.c because libinproctrace.so uses common-utils but not gnulib. gdb/ChangeLog: 2019-11-15 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * Makefile.in: Replace {posix,mingw}-strerror.c with safe-strerror.c. * configure: Regenerate. * configure.ac: Don't source common.host. * gdbsupport/common.host: Remove. * gdbsupport/mingw-strerror.c: Remove. * gdbsupport/posix-strerror.c: Rename to... * gdbsupport/safe-strerror.c: ...this. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: 2019-11-15 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * Makefile.in: Add safe-strerror.c. * configure: Regenerate. * configure.ac: Don't source common.host. 2019-11-12gdb: Support printf 'z' size modifierAndrew Burgess2-0/+12
The gdb format mechanism doesn't currently support the 'z' size modifier, there are a few places in GDB where this is used. Instead of removing these uses lets just add support to GDB for using 'z'. I found this issue when trying to use some of the debug output. Before this commit: (gdb) set debug dwarf-line 9 (gdb) file test Reading symbols from test... Unrecognized format specifier 'z' in printf (No debugging symbols found in test) (gdb) After this commit: (gdb) set debug dwarf-line 9 (gdb) file test Reading symbols from test... 2019-10-17Fix creation of stamp-h by gdb's configure scriptTom Tromey4-14/+13
I happened to notice that "make" would always print: CONFIG_HEADERS=config.h:config.in \ CONFIG_COMMANDS="default depdir" \ CONFIG_FILES= \ CONFIG_LINKS= \ /bin/sh config.status config.status: creating config.h config.status: config.h is unchanged on every rebuild. This seems to have changed due to an autoconf upgrade at some point in the past. In the autoconf gdb uses now, it works to use AC_CONFIG_HEADERS and then create the stamp file via the "commands" argument. This patch also fixes up Makefile.in to use the new-style config.status invocation. It's no longer necessary to pass the output file names via environment variables. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-10-17 Tom Tromey <tromey@adacore.com> * configure: Rebuild. * configure.ac: Use AC_CONFIG_HEADERS. 2019-10-16Create xml-builtin.h to declare xml_builtinsChristian Biesinger2-1/+8
xml-builtin.c only has character arrays and no dependencies, so this creates a simple header file for that purpose so that gdbserver can include that instead of re-declaring xml_builtin. Despite the name, feature_to_c.sh is already specific to xml_builtins (it hardcodes the variable name), so making it always output the include for xml-builtin.h seems fine. gdb/ChangeLog: 2019-10-16 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * Makefile.in: Add xml-builtin.h. * features/feature_to_c.sh: Add an include for xml-builtin.h to ensure that the compiler checks that the types match. * xml-builtin.h: New file. * xml-support.c (fetch_xml_builtin): Add missing const. * xml-support.h: Remove declaration of xml_builtins. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: 2019-10-16 Christian Biesinger <cbiesinger@google.com> * server.c: Include xml-builtin.h. 2019-10-02Fix type of startup_with_shell in gdbserverTom Tromey3-6/+8
startup_with_shell was changed to be of "bool" type, but I noticed that the definition in gdbserver disagreed. This disagreement caused some regressions on a big-endian machine. 2019-10-02gdb: Remove a VEC from gdbsupport/btrace-common.hAndrew Burgess2-6/+7
Converts a VEC into a std::vector in gdbsupport/btrace-common.h. This commit just performs a mechanical conversion and doesn't do any refactoring. One consequence of this is that the std::vector must actually be a pointer to std::vector as it is placed within a union. It might be possible in future to refactor to a class hierarchy and remove the need for a union, but I'd rather have that be a separate change to make it easier to see the evolution of the code. gdb/ChangeLog: * btrace.c (btrace_compute_ftrace_bts): Update for std::vector, make accesses into the vector constant references. 2019-09-26Revert "Improve ptrace-error detection on Linux targets"Sergio Durigan Junior4-33/+6
This reverts commit 381beca6146ac68b57edf47d28cdb335fbd11635. The patch hasn't been fully reviewed yet, and Pedro would like to see more fixes.
2019-09-26Improve ptrace-error detection on Linux targetsSergio Durigan Junior4-6/+33
In Fedora GDB, we carry the following patch: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/gdb/blob/8ac06474ff1e2aa4920d14e0666b083eeaca8952/f/gdb-attach-fail-reasons-5of5.patch Its purpose is to try to detect a specific scenario where SELinux's 'deny_ptrace' option is enabled, which prevents GDB from ptrace'ing in order to debug the inferior (PTRACE_ATTACH and PTRACE_TRACEME will fail with EACCES in this case). I like the idea of improving error detection and providing more information to the user (a simple "Permission denied" can be really frustrating), but I don't fully agree with the way the patch was implemented: it makes GDB link against libselinux only for the sake of consulting the 'deny_ptrace' setting, and then prints a warning if ptrace failed and this setting is on. My first thought (and attempt) was to make GDB print a generic warning when a ptrace error happened; this message would just point the user to our documentation, where she could find more information about possible causes for the error (and try to diagnose/fix the problem). This proved to be too simple, and I was convinced that it is actually a good idea to go the extra kilometre and try to pinpoint the specific problem (or problems) preventing ptrace from working, as well as provide useful suggestions on how the user can fix things. Here is the patch I came up with. It implements a new function, 'linux_ptrace_restricted_fail_reason', which does a few things to check what's wrong with ptrace: - It dlopen's "libselinux.so.1" and checks if the "deny_ptrace" option is enabled. - It reads the contents of "/proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope" and checks if it's different than 0. For each of these checks, if it succeeds, the user will see a message informing about the restriction in place, and how it can be disabled. For example, if "deny_ptrace" is enabled, the user will see: # gdb /usr/bin/true ... Starting program: /usr/bin/true warning: Could not trace the inferior process. warning: ptrace: Permission denied The SELinux 'deny_ptrace' option is enabled and preventing GDB from using 'ptrace'. You can disable it by executing (as root): setsebool deny_ptrace off If you are debugging the inferior remotely, the ptrace restriction(s) need to be disabled in the target system (e.g., where GDBserver is running). During startup program exited with code 127. (gdb) In case "/proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope" is > 0: # gdb /usr/bin/true ... Starting program: /usr/bin/true warning: Could not trace the inferior process. warning: ptrace: Operation not permitted The Linux kernel's Yama ptrace scope is in effect, which can prevent GDB from using 'ptrace'. You can disable it by executing (as root): echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope If you are debugging the inferior remotely, the ptrace restriction(s) need to be disabled in the target system (e.g., where GDBserver is running). During startup program exited with code 127. (gdb) If both restrictions are enabled, both messages will show up. This works for gdbserver as well, and actually fixes a latent bug I found: when ptrace is restricted, gdbserver would hang due to an unchecked ptrace call: # gdbserver :9988 /usr/bin/true gdbserver: linux_ptrace_test_ret_to_nx: Cannot PTRACE_TRACEME: Operation not permitted gdbserver: linux_ptrace_test_ret_to_nx: status 256 is not WIFSTOPPED! gdbserver: linux_ptrace_test_ret_to_nx: failed to kill child pid 2668100 No such process [ Here you would have to issue a C-c ] Now, you will see: # gdbserver :9988 /usr/bin/true gdbserver: linux_ptrace_test_ret_to_nx: Cannot PTRACE_TRACEME: Permission denied gdbserver: linux_ptrace_test_ret_to_nx: status 256 is not WIFSTOPPED! gdbserver: linux_ptrace_test_ret_to_nx: failed to kill child pid 2766868 No such process gdbserver: Could not trace the inferior process. gdbserver: ptrace: Permission denied The SELinux 'deny_ptrace' option is enabled and preventing GDB from using 'ptrace'. You can disable it by executing (as root): setsebool deny_ptrace off If you are debugging the inferior remotely, the ptrace restriction(s) need to be disabled in the target system (e.g., where GDBserver is running). # (I decided to keep all the other messages, even though I find them a bit distracting). If GDB can't determine the cause for the failure, it will still print the generic error message which tells the user to check our documentation: There might be restrictions preventing ptrace from working. Please see the appendix "Linux kernel ptrace restrictions" in the GDB documentation for more details. If you are debugging the inferior remotely, the ptrace restriction(s) need to be disabled in the target system (e.g., where GDBserver is running). This means that the patch expands our documentation and creates a new appendix section named "Linux kernel ptrace restrictions", with sub-sections for each possible restriction that might be in place. Notice how, on every message, we instruct the user to "do the right thing" if gdbserver is being used. This is because if the user started gdbserver *before* any ptrace restriction was in place, and then, for some reason, one or more restrictions get enabled, then the error message will be displayed both on gdbserver *and* on the connected GDB. Since the user will be piloting GDB, it's important to explicitly say that the ptrace restrictions are enabled in the target, where gdbserver is running. The current list of possible restrictions is: - SELinux's 'deny_ptrace' option (detected). - YAMA's /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope setting (detected). - seccomp on Docker containers (I couldn't find how to detect). It's important to mention that all of this is Linux-specific; as far as I know, SELinux, YAMA and seccomp are Linux-only features. I tested this patch locally, on my Fedora 30 machine (actually, a Fedora Rawhide VM), but I'm not proposing a testcase for it because of the difficulty of writing one. 2019-08-15Use gdb::byte_vector in target_write_memoryTom Tromey2-1/+6
Pedro pointed out that target_write_memory should use gdb::byte_vector rather than std::vector<unsigned char>. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog 2019-08-15 Tom Tromey <tromey@adacore.com> * target.c (target_write_memory): Use gdb::byte_vector.
2019-08-15Replace write_inferior_memory with target_write_memoryTom Tromey12-68/+89
target_write_memory is just a simple wrapper for write_inferior_memory. Because target_write_memory is needed for gdbsupport, and because gdb uses the name "target_write_memory" everywhere, this patch renames write_inferior_memory and removes the wrapper. I think this brings gdb and gdbserver slightly more in sync. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog 2019-08-15 Tom Tromey <tromey@adacore.com> * tracepoint.c (write_inferior_data_pointer) (write_inferior_integer, write_inferior_int8) (write_inferior_uinteger, m_tracepoint_action_download) (r_tracepoint_action_download, x_tracepoint_action_download) (l_tracepoint_action_download, clear_inferior_trace_buffer) (download_agent_expr, download_tracepoint_1) (download_trace_state_variables, upload_fast_traceframes): Update. * server.c (gdb_write_memory): Update. * remote-utils.c (relocate_instruction): Update. * proc-service.c (ps_pdwrite): Update. * mem-break.c (remove_memory_breakpoint) (delete_fast_tracepoint_jump, set_fast_tracepoint_jump) (uninsert_fast_tracepoint_jumps_at) (reinsert_fast_tracepoint_jumps_at): Update. * linux-x86-low.c (append_insns) (i386_install_fast_tracepoint_jump_pad) (amd64_write_goto_address, i386_write_goto_address): Update. * linux-s390-low.c (append_insns, s390_write_goto_address): Update. * linux-ppc-low.c (ppc_relocate_instruction) (ppc_install_fast_tracepoint_jump_pad, emit_insns) (ppc_write_goto_address): Update. * linux-aarch64-low.c (append_insns): Update. * target.h (struct target_ops): Update. 2019-08-15Simplify write_inferior_memoryTom Tromey2-17/+9
gdbserver's write_inferior_memory uses a static variable to avoid memory leaks, and has a comment referring to the lack of cleanups. This patch removes this comment and the code in favor of a straightforward use of std::vector. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog 2019-08-15 Tom Tromey <tromey@adacore.com> * target.c (write_inferior_memory): Use std::vector.
2019-08-06[PR build/24886] disable glibc mcheck supportFrank Ch. Eigler5-128/+53
This patch drops gdb's configury support for glibc's mcheck function. It has been observed to cause false abort()s, because it is thread-unsafe yet interposes every malloc/free operation. So if any library transitively used by gdb also uses threads, then these functions can easily corrupt their own checking data. These days, gcc ASAN and valgrind provide high quality checking, and mcheck is apparently itself being slowly deprecated. So, let's stop linking to it. Attached patch drops the autoconf/Makefile machinery for both gdb and gdbserver. No testsuite-visible impact. IMHO not worth mentioning in NEWS. 2019-07-09Rename common to gdbsupportTom Tromey40-175/+194
This is the next patch in the ongoing series to move gdbsever to the top level. This patch just renames the "common" directory. The idea is to do this move in two parts: first rename the directory (this patch), then move the directory to the top. This approach makes the patches a bit more tractable. I chose the name "gdbsupport" for the directory. However, as this patch was largely written by sed, we could pick a new name without too much difficulty. Tested by the buildbot. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-07-09 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com> * contrib/ari/gdb_ari.sh: Change common to gdbsupport. * configure: Rebuild. * configure.ac: Change common to gdbsupport. * 2019-07-04i386/AArch64: Remove old xml testsAlan Hayward8-264/+16
Both the i386, X86_64 and AArch64 builds of gdbserver include a bunch of legacy xml files, dat files and auto generated C files, when building for unit test. These tests exists back from when feature target descriptions were added to prove that the new target descriptions were identical to the original older versions. The old files are not used for anything other than these tests. Now that this has been proven, we are not gaining anything by keeping the original files and tests. Should new functionality be added, it would break the tests, unless the functionality was backported to the xml. There is no requirement that we must match the exact xml from N releases ago. It adds obfuscation, where as the feature target descriptions were meant to simplify the code. In addition, there are a bunch of xml and dat files which are completely unused. This patch removes the selftests and the target descriptions from gdbserver. Update the unittest to allow 0 tests (note, this failed on other targets that never had any tests). gdb/ChangeLog: * aarch64-tdep.c: Remove xml self tests. * amd64-linux-tdep.c: Likewise. * amd64-tdep.c: Likewise. * i386-linux-tdep.c: Likewise. * i386-tdep.c: Likewise. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: * configure.srv: Remove legacy xml. * linux-aarch64-low.c (initialize_low_arch): Remove initialize_low_tdesc call. * linux-aarch64-tdesc-selftest.c: Remove file. * linux-aarch64-tdesc.h (initialize_low_tdesc): Remove. * linux-x86-low.c (initialize_low_arch): Remove initialize_low_tdesc call. * linux-x86-tdesc-selftest.c: Remove file. * linux-x86-tdesc.h (initialize_low_tdesc): Remove. gdb/testsuite/ChangeLog: * gdb.server/unittest.exp: Allow 0 unit tests to run.

2019-06-19[gdb] Fix clang buildbreakerTom de Vries3-2/+7
Building gdb with clang, I run into: ... src/gdb/gdbserver/linux-low.c:6190:41: error: comparison of unsigned \ expression < 0 is always false [-Werror,-Wtautological-compare] if (debug_write ("sigchld_handler\n", sizeof ("sigchld_handler\n") - 1) < 0) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^ ~ ... This regression is introduced by commit a7e559cc08 "gdbserver: Ensure all debug output uses debug functions", which replaces calls to write with result type ssize_t with calls to debug_write with result type size_t. Fix this by making debug_write return ssize_t. Build and reg-tested on x86_64-linux. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog: 2019-06-19 Tom de Vries <tdevries@suse.de> * debug.h (debug_write): Change return type to ssize_t. * debug.c (debug_write): Same.

2019-06-14Move gnulib to top levelTom Tromey4-4/+11
This patch moves the gdb/gnulib subdirectory to the top level. It adjusts the top-level build system to build gnulib when necessary, and changes gdb to use this. However, gdbserver still builds its own copy of gnulib, just from the new source location. A small hack was needed to ensure that gnulib is only built when gdb is enabled. The Makefile only provides an ordering -- the directory must be mentioned in configdirs to actually be compiled at all. Most of the patch is just a "git mv" of gnulib, though a few minor path adjustments were needed in some files there. Tested by the buildbot. 2019-06-11Move gdb's xmalloc and friends to new fileTom Tromey2-0/+19
When "common" becomes a library, linking will cause a symbol clash, because "xmalloc" and some related symbols are defined in that library, libiberty, and readline. To work around this problem, this patch moves the clashing symbols to a new file, which is then compiled separately for both gdb and gdbserver. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-06-11 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com> * common/common-utils.c (xmalloc, xrealloc, xcalloc) (xmalloc_failed): Move to alloc.c. * alloc.c: New file. * Makefile.in (COMMON_SFILES): Add alloc.c. gdb/gdbserver/ChangeLog 2019-06-11 Tom Tromey <tom@tromey.com> * Makefile.in (SFILES): Add alloc.c. (OBS): Add alloc.o. (IPA_OBJS): Add alloc-ipa.o. (alloc-ipa.o): New target. (%.o: ../%.c): New pattern rule.
2019-06-10Remove newlines from warningsTom Tromey6-9/+22
ARI pointed out that a recent patch introduced a call to "warning" with a string that ended in a newline: https://sourceware.org/ml/gdb-patches/2019-06/msg00000.html This is generally forbidden, I believe, because warning adds its own newline. This patch removes all of the trailing newlines I was able to find. I searched for 'warning (.*\\n"' and then fixed the ones where the newline appeared at the end of the string (some had internal newlines). Tested on x86-64 Fedora 29. gdb/ChangeLog 2019-06-10 Tom Tromey <tromey@adacore.com> * m32c-tdep.c (m32c_m16c_address_to_pointer): Don't end warning with a newline. * guile/guile.c (handle_boot_error): Don't end warning with a newline. * cli/cli-cmds.c (exit_status_set_internal_vars): Don't end warning with a newline. * s12z-tdep.c (s12z_skip_prologue): Don't end warning with a newline.
