* gdb.texinfo (Compilation): Don't mention -gdwarf-2. Link to GCC
manual.

(Macros): Add a footnote.
(C): Remove paragraph about compiler options.
(C Constants): Mention wide character and string constants.
(C Plus Plus Expressions): Update compiler option advice. Mention
