* safe-ctype.h: Add #include of ctype.h before redefining
the ctype.h macros.
From-SVN: r137580
|
|
* safe-ctype.h: Remove #error when detecting that ctype.h has been
included. Redefine the various macros provided by ctype.h as
undefined variables.

include:
* safe-ctype.h (HC_UNKNOWN, HC_ASCII, HC_EBCDIC): Rename to
HOST_CHARSET_UNKNOWN, HOST_CHARSET_ASCII, HOST_CHARSET_EBCDIC
respectively.
libiberty:
* safe-ctype.c: Use HOST_CHARSET_ASCII and HOST_CHARSET_EBCDIC,
not HC_ASCII and HC_EBCDIC.
Add documentation in form expected by gather-docs.
* hex.c: Use HOST_CHARSET, not hand-coded check of character set.
* Makefile.in, functions.texi: Regenerate.
gcc:

New #defines.

for charset determination.
gcc:
* aclocal.m4 (gcc_AC_C_CHARSET): Delete.

* configure, config.in: Regenerate.

gcc:
* Makefile.in (HOST_RTL): Add safe-ctype.o.
(safe-ctype.o): New rule.
* system.h: Include safe-ctype.h, not ctype.h. No need to

terms of safe-ctype.h macros.
* cppinit.c: Delete the IStable and all related code.
* tradcpp.c: Delete is_idchar, is_idstart, is_hor_space, and
is_space arrays. Delete initialize_char_syntax. Change all

is_nvspace in terms of safe_ctype.h's macros.
* tradcif.y: is_idchar, is_idstart are macros not arrays.
