When using -fprofile-report, -fdump-profile-report can be used to
print the report to a foo.c.000i.profile-report file instead
of stderr. I see it handy for comparison purpose.

dump_passes pushes a dummy function for which it evaluates the gates
and checks whether the pass is enabled or disabled.
Unfortunately, if any -fdisable-*-*/-fenable-*-* options were seen,
we ICE during is_pass_explicitly_enabled_or_disabled because slot
is non-NULL then and the code will do:
cgraph_uid = func ? cgraph_node::get (func)->get_uid () : 0;
but the dummy function doesn't have a cgraph node.
So, either we need to create and then remove a cgraph node for the dummy
function like the following patch, or function.c would need to export the
in_dummy_function flag (or have some way to query that flag from other TUs)
and we'd need to check it in is_pass_explicitly_enabled_or_disabled.

Set global epilogue_completed when skipping pro_and_epilogue pass
When compiling RTL functions marked to start at a pass after the reload
pass, `skip_pass` is used to mark the reload pass as having completed
since many patterns use the `reload_completed` variable to determine
whether to run or not.
Here we do the same for the `epilogue_completed` variable and the
pro_and_epilogue pass.
Also include a testcase that relies on the availability of a
define_split in the aarch64 backend that is conditioned on this
`epilogue_completed` variable.

Hi there,
When compiling an __RTL function that has an invalid "startwith" pass we
currently don't run the dfinish cleanup pass. This means we ICE on the next
function.
This change ensures that all state is cleaned up for the next function
to run correctly.
As an example, before this change the following code would ICE when compiling
the function `foo2` because the "peephole2" pass is not run at optimisation
level -O0.
When compiled with

Attempts to dump via -fopt-info from a plugin pass fail, due
to the dfi->alt_state for such passes never being set.
This is because the -fopt-info options were being set up per-pass
during option-parsing (via gcc::dump_manager::opt_info_enable_passes),
but this data was not retained or used it for passes created later
(for plugins and target-specific passes).
This patch fixes the issue by storing the -fopt-info options into
gcc::dump_manager, refactoring the dfi-setup code out of
opt_info_enable_passes, and reusing it for such passes, fixing the
issue. The patch adds a demo plugin to test that dumping from a
plugin works.

The DWARF back-end used to systematically ignore file-scope function and
variable declarations. While this is justified in language like C/C++,
where such declarations can appear in several translation units and thus
bloat uselessly the debug info, this behavior is counter-productive in
languages with a well-defined module system. Specifically, it prevents
the description of imported entities, that belong to foreign languages,
making them unavailable from debuggers.
Take for instance:

This makes available for Ada programs the C function "my_c_function"
under the following name: C_Binding.My_C_Function. When GCC compiles
it, though, it is represented as a FUNCTION_DECL node with DECL_EXTERNAL
set and a null DECL_INITIAL, which used to be discarded unconditionally
in the DWARF back-end.
This patch moves such filter from the DWARF back-end to the relevant
callers: passes.c:rest_of_decl_compilation and
godump.c:go_early_global_decl. It also This patch also updates the Ada
front-end to call debug hooks for functions such as in the above
example, so that we do generate debugging information for them.
