2019-08-13Protect some checks of DECL_FUNCTION_CODERichard Sandiford1-2/+1
This patch protects various uses of DECL_FUNCTION_CODE that didn't obviously check for BUILT_IN_NORMAL first (either directly or in callers). They could therefore trigger for functions that either aren't built-ins or are a different kind of built-in. This patch changes the types of the bit offsets and sizes returned by get_ref_base_and_extent to poly_int64. There are some callers that can't sensibly operate on polynomial offsets or handle cases where the offset and size aren't known exactly. This includes the IPA devirtualisation code (since there's no defined way of having vtables at variable offsets) and some parts of the DWARF code. The wide_int routines allow things like: wi::add (t, 1) to add 1 to an INTEGER_CST T in its native precision. But we also have: wi::to_offset (t) // Treat T as an offset_int wi::to_widest (t) // Treat T as a widest_int Recently we also gained: wi::to_wide (t, prec) // Treat T as a wide_int in preccision PREC This patch therefore requires: wi::to_wide (t) when operating on INTEGER_CSTs in their native precision. This is just as efficient, and makes it clearer that a deliberate choice is being made to treat the tree as a wide_int in its native precision. This also removes the inconsistency that a) INTEGER_CSTs in their native precision can be used without an accessor but must use wi:: functions instead of C++ operators b) the other forms need an explicit accessor but the result can be used with C++ operators. This patch uses global rather than member operators for wide-int.h, so that the first operand can be a non-wide-int type. The patch also removes the and_not and or_not member functions. It was already inconsistent to have member functions for these two operations (one of which was never used) and not other wi:: ones like udiv.
