2022-01-11Change the 3rd parameter of function .DEFERRED_INIT from IS_VLA to decl name.Qing Zhao1-10/+18
Currently, the 3rd parameter of function .DEFERRED_INIT is IS_VLA, which is not needed at all; In this patch, we change the 3rd parameter from IS_VLA to the name of the var decl for the following purposes: 1. Fix (or work around) PR103720: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=103720 As confirmed in PR103720, with the current definition of .DEFERRED_INIT, Dom transformed: c$a$0_6 = .DEFERRED_INIT (8, 2, 0); _1 = .DEFERRED_INIT (8, 2, 0); into: c$a$0_6 = .DEFERRED_INIT (8, 2, 0); _1 = c$a$0_6; which is incorrectly done due to Dom treating the two calls to const function .DEFERRED_INIT as the same call since all actual parameters are the same. The same issue has been exposed in PR102608 due to a different optimization VN, the fix for PR102608 is to specially handle call to .DEFERRED_INIT in VN to exclude it from CSE. To fix PR103720, we could do the same as the fix to PR102608 to specially handle call to .DEFERRED_INIT in Dom to exclude it from being optimized. However, in addition to Dom and VN, there should be other optimizations that have the same issue as PR103720 or PR102608 (As I built Linux kernel with -ftrivial-auto-var-init=zero -Werror, I noticed a bunch of bugos warnings). Other than identifying all the optimizations and specially handling call to .DEFERRED_INIT in all these optimizations, changing the 3rd parameter of the function .DEFERRED_INIT from IS_VLA to the name string of the var decl might be a better workaround (or a fix). After this change, since the 3rd actual parameter is the name string of the variable, different calls for different variables will have different name strings as the 3rd actual, As a result, the optimization that previously treated the different calls to .DEFERRED_INIT as the same will be prevented. 2. Prepare for enabling -Wuninitialized + -ftrivail-auto-var-init for address taken variables. As discussion in the following thread: https://gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-patches/2021-August/577431.html With the current implemenation of -ftrivial-auto-var-init and uninitialized warning analysis, the uninitialized warning for an address taken auto variable might be missed since the variable is completely eliminated by optimization and replaced with a temporary variable in all the uses. In order to improve such situation, changing the 3rd parameter of the function .DEFERRED_INIT to the name string of the variable will provide necessary information to uninitialized warning analysis to make the missing warning possible. gcc/ChangeLog: 2022-01-11 qing zhao <qing.zhao@oracle.com> * gimplify.c (gimple_add_init_for_auto_var): Delete the 3rd argument. 2022-01-04openmp: Fix ICE in gimplify_omp_affinity [PR103643]Chung-Lin Tang1-1/+1
After the PR90030 patch, which removes the universal casting of all Fortran array pointers to 'c_char*', a Fortran descriptor based array passed into an affinity() clause now looks like: - #pragma omp task private(i) shared(b) affinity(*(c_char *) a.data) + #pragma omp task private(i) shared(b) affinity(*(integer(kind=4)[0:] * restrict) a.data) The 'integer(kind=4)[0:]' incomplete type appears to be causing ICE during gimplify_expr() due to 'is_gimple_val, fb_rvalue'. The ICE appears to be fixed just by adjusting to 'is_gimple_lvalue, fb_lvalue'. Considering the use of the affinity() clause, which should be specifying the location of a particular object in memory, this probably makes sense. gcc/ChangeLog: PR middle-end/103643 * gimplify.c (gimplify_omp_affinity): Adjust gimplify_expr of entire OMP_CLAUSE_DECL to use 'is_gimple_lvalue, fb_lvalue' gcc/testsuite/ChangeLog: * gfortran.dg/gomp/pr103643.f90: New test.

2021-12-09OpenMP 5.0: Remove array section base-pointer mapping semantics and other ↵Chung-Lin Tang1-33/+187
front-end adjustments This patch implements three pieces of functionality: (1) Adjust array section mapping to have standards conforming behavior, mapping array sections should *NOT* also map the base-pointer: struct S { int *ptr; ... }; struct S s; Instead of generating this during gimplify: map(to:*_1 [len: 400]) map(attach:s.ptr [bias: 0]) Now, adjust to: (i.e. do not map the base-pointer together. 2021-11-23inliner: Remove unused transform_lang_insert_block hookJakub Jelinek1-1/+0
This struct copy_body_data's hook is always NULL since merge of the tuples branch, before that it has been shortly used by the C++ FE during ctor/dtor cloning to chain the remapped blocks, but only very shortly, before transform_lang_insert_block was a bool and the call to insert_block was done through a langhook. 2021-11-23openmp: Fix up handling of reduction clauses on the loop construct [PR102431]Jakub Jelinek1-26/+60
We were using unshare_expr and walk_tree_without_duplicate replacement of the placeholder vars. The OMP_CLAUSE_REDUCTION_{INIT,MERGE} can contain other trees that need to be duplicated though, e.g. BLOCKs referenced in BIND_EXPR(s), or local VAR_DECLs. This patch uses the inliner code to copy all of that. There is a slight complication that those local VAR_DECLs or placeholders don't have DECL_CONTEXT set, they will get that only when they are gimplified later on, so this patch sets DECL_CONTEXT for those temporarily and resets it afterwards. 2021-11-23 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/102431 * gimplify.c (replace_reduction_placeholders): Remove. 2021-11-17Fix ICE when mixing VLAs and statement expressions [PR91038]Martin Uecker1-43/+36
When returning VM-types from statement expressions, this can lead to an ICE when declarations from the statement expression are referred to later. Most of these issues can be addressed by gimplifying the base expression earlier in gimplify_compound_lval. Another issue is fixed by wrapping the pointer expression in pointer_int_sum. 2021-11-15openmp: Add support for thread_limit clause on targetJakub Jelinek1-4/+7
OpenMP 5.1 says that thread_limit clause can also appear on target, and similarly to teams should affect the thread-limit-var ICV. On combined target teams, the clause goes to both. We actually passed thread_limit internally on target already before, but only used it for gcn/ptx offloading to hint how many threads should be created and for ptx didn't set thread_limit_var in that case. Similarly for host fallback. Also, I found that we weren't copying the args array that contains encoded thread_limit and num_teams clause for target (etc.) for async target. 2021-11-15 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> gcc/ * gimplify.c (optimize_target_teams): Only add OMP_CLAUSE_THREAD_LIMIT to OMP_TARGET_CLAUSES if it isn't there already. gcc/c-family/ * c-omp.c (c_omp_split_clauses) <case OMP_CLAUSE_THREAD_LIMIT>: Duplicate to both OMP_TARGET and OMP_TEAMS. gcc/c/ * c-parser.c (OMP_TARGET_CLAUSE_MASK): Add PRAGMA_OMP_CLAUSE_THREAD_LIMIT. gcc/cp/ * parser.c (OMP_TARGET_CLAUSE_MASK): Add PRAGMA_OMP_CLAUSE_THREAD_LIMIT. libgomp/ * task.c (gomp_create_target_task): Copy args array as well. * target.c (gomp_target_fallback): Add args argument. 2021-11-11openmp: Add support for 2 argument num_teams clauseJakub Jelinek1-5/+50
In OpenMP 5.1, num_teams clause can accept either one expression as before, but it in that case changed meaning, rather than create <= expression teams it is now create == expression teams. Or it accepts two expressions separated by :, with the meaning that the first is low bound and second upper bound on how many teams should be created. The other ways to set number of teams are upper bounds with lower bound of 1. The following patch does parsing of this for C/C++. For host teams, we actually don't need to do anything further right now, we always create (pretend to create) exactly the requested number of teams, so we can just evaluate and throw away the lower bound for now. For teams nested in target, we don't guarantee that though and further work will be needed. In particular, omplower now turns the teams part of: struct S { S (); S (const S &); ~S (); int s; }; void bar (S &, S &); int baz (); _Pragma ("omp declare target to (baz)"); void foo (void) { S a, b; #pragma omp target private (a) map (b) { #pragma omp teams firstprivate (b) num_teams (baz ()) { bar (a, b); } } } into: retval.0 = baz (); retval.1 = retval.0; { unsigned int retval.3; struct S * D.2549; struct S b; retval.3 = (unsigned int) retval.1; D.2549 = .omp_data_i->b; S::S (&b, D.2549); #pragma omp teams num_teams(retval.1) firstprivate(b) shared(a) __builtin_GOMP_teams (retval.3, 0); { bar (&a, &b); } S::~S (&b); #pragma omp return(nowait) } IMHO we want a new API, say GOMP_teams3 which will take 3 arguments instead of 2 (the lower and upper bounds from num_teams and thread_limit) and will return a bool whether it should do the teams body or not. And, we should add right before outermost {} above while (__builtin_GOMP_teams3 ((unsigned) retval.1, (unsigned) retval.1, 0)) and remove the __builtin_GOMP_teams call. The current function performs exit equivalent (at least on NVPTX) which seems bad because that means the destructors of e.g. private variables on target aren't invoked, and at the current placement neither destructors of the already constructed privatized variables in teams. I'll do this next on the compiler side, but I'm afraid I'll need help with the nvptx and amdgcn implementations. E.g. for nvptx, we won't be able to use %ctaid.x . I think ideal would be to use a .shared integer variable for the omp_get_team_num value, but I don't have any experience with that, are .shared variables zero initialized by default, or do they have random value at start? PTX docs say they aren't initializable. 2021-11-11 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> gcc/ * tree.h (OMP_CLAUSE_NUM_TEAMS_EXPR): Rename to ... (OMP_CLAUSE_NUM_TEAMS_UPPER_EXPR): ... this. scope [PR102504] The standard has a restriction: "A list item that appears in a reduction clause of a scope construct must be shared in the parallel region to which a corresponding scope region binds." similar to the restriction for worksharing constructs, but we were checking it only on worksharing constructs and not for scope and ICEd later on during omp expansion. 2021-09-29 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/102504 * gimplify.c (gimplify_scan_omp_clauses): Use omp_check_private even in OMP_SCOPE clauses, not just on worksharing construct clauses. * c-c++-common/gomp/scope-4.c: New test.
2021-09-28openmp: Don't call omp_finish_clause on implicitly added private clauses on ↵Jakub Jelinek1-2/+6
simd [PR102492] The gimplifier adds implicit private clauses on SIMD constructs for local variables in the SIMD body if they are addressable to make sure they use the magic arrays with "omp simd array" attribute (such that each SIMD lane has its own copy), but we actually don't need to default privatize etc. those, the construction for them is done in the SIMD body and so is destruction. omp_finish_clause for C++ now requires default constructor (and dtor) for private, so that OpenMP 5.1 default(private) works, but that will never be needed on SIMD. So, this patch just doesn't call omp_finish_clause for private on simd. The C and Fortran langhooks don't do anything for private. 2021-09-28 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/102492 * gimplify.c (gimplify_adjust_omp_clauses_1): Don't call the omp_finish_clause langhook on implicitly added OMP_CLAUSE_PRIVATE clauses on SIMD constructs. * g++.dg/gomp/simd-3.C: New test.
2021-09-27Fix PR c/94726: ICE with __builtin_shuffle and changing of typesAndrew Pinski1-0/+3
The problem here is __builtin_shuffle when called with two arguments instead of 1, uses a SAVE_EXPR to put in for the 1st and 2nd operand of VEC_PERM_EXPR and when we go and gimplify the SAVE_EXPR, the type is now error_mark_node and that fails hard. This fixes the problem by adding a simple check for type of operand of SAVE_EXPR not to be error_mark_node. OK? Bootstrapped and tested on aarch64-linux-gnu with no regressions. gcc/ChangeLog: PR c/94726 * gimplify.c (gimplify_save_expr): Return early if the type of val is error_mark_node. gcc/testsuite/ChangeLog: PR c/94726 * gcc.dg/pr94726.c: New test.

trees This patch adds testing checks (goa_stabilize_expr with NULL pre_p) for more tree codes, so that we don't gimplify their operands individually unless lhs appears in them. Also, so that we don't have exponential compile time complexity with the added checks, I've added a depth computation, we don't expect lhs to be found in depth 8 or above as all the atomic forms must have x expression in specific places in the expressions. 2021-09-14 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> * gimplify.c (goa_stabilize_expr): Add depth argument, propagate it to recursive calls, for depth above 7 just gimplify or return. 2021-08-17openmp: Implement OpenMP 5.1 scope constructJakub Jelinek1-4/+20
This patch implements the OpenMP 5.1 scope construct, which is similar to worksharing constructs in many regards, but isn't one of them. The body of the construct is encountered by all threads though, it can be nested in itself or intermixed with taskgroup and worksharing etc. constructs can appear inside of it (but it can't be nested in worksharing etc. constructs). The main purpose of the construct is to allow reductions (normal and task ones) without the need to close the parallel and reopen another one. If it doesn't have task reductions, it can be implemented without any new library support, with nowait it just does the privatizations at the start if any and reductions before the end of the body, with without nowait emits a normal GOMP_barrier{,_cancel} at the end too. For task reductions, we need to ensure only one thread initializes the task reduction library data structures and other threads copy from that, so a new GOMP_scope_start routine is added to the library for that. It acts as if the start of the scope construct is a nowait worksharing construct (that is ok, it can't be nested in other worksharing constructs and all threads need to encounter the start in the same order) which does the task reduction initialization, but as the body can have other scope constructs and/or worksharing constructs, that is all where we use this dummy worksharing construct. With task reductions, the construct must not have nowait and ends with a GOMP_barrier{,_cancel}, followed by task reductions followed by GOMP_workshare_task_reduction_unregister. Only C/C++ FE support is done. 2021-08-17 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> gcc/ * tree.def (OMP_SCOPE): New tree code. * tree.h (OMP_SCOPE_BODY, OMP_SCOPE_CLAUSES): Define. * tree-nested.c (convert_nonlocal_reference_stmt, convert_local_reference_stmt, convert_gimple_call): Handle GIMPLE_OMP_SCOPE. * tree-pretty-print.c (dump_generic_node): Handle OMP_SCOPE. * gimple.def (GIMPLE_OMP_SCOPE): New gimple code. * gimple.c (gimple_build_omp_scope): New function. 2021-08-12openmp: Add support for OpenMP 5.1 masked constructJakub Jelinek1-3/+28
This construct has been introduced as a replacement for master construct, but unlike that construct is slightly more general, has an optional clause which allows to choose which thread will be the one running the region, it can be some other thread than the master (primary) thread with number 0, or it could be no threads or multiple threads (then of course one needs to be careful about data races). It is way too early to deprecate the master construct though, we don't even have OpenMP 5.0 fully implemented, it has been deprecated in 5.1, will be also in 5.2 and removed in 6.0. But even then it will likely be a good idea to just -Wdeprecated warn about it and still accept it. The patch also contains something I should have done much earlier, for clauses that accept some integral expression where we only care about the value, forces during gimplification that value into either a min invariant (as before), SSA_NAME or a fresh temporary, but never e.g. a user VAR_DECL, so that for those clauses we don't need to worry about adjusting it. 2021-08-12 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> gcc/ * tree.def (OMP_MASKED): New tree code. * tree-core.h (enum omp_clause_code): Add OMP_CLAUSE_FILTER. * tree.h (OMP_MASKED_BODY, OMP_MASKED_CLAUSES, OMP_MASKED_COMBINED, OMP_CLAUSE_FILTER_EXPR): Define. * tree.c (omp_clause_num_ops): Add OMP_CLAUSE_FILTER entry. 2021-07-21openmp: Fix up omp_check_private [PR101535]Jakub Jelinek1-5/+16
The target data construct shouldn't affect omp_check_private, unless the decl there is privatized (use_device_* clauses). The routine had some code for that, but it just did continue; in a loop that looped only if the region type is one of selected 4 kinds, so effectively resulted in return false; instead of looping again. And not diagnosing lastprivate (or reduction etc.) on a variable that is private to containing parallel results in ICEs later on, as there is no original list item to which store the last result. The target construct is unclear as it has an implicit parallel region and it is not obvious if the data privatization clauses on the construct shall be treated as data privatization on the implicit parallel or just on the target. For now treat those as privatization on the implicit parallel, but treat map clauses as shared on the implicit parallel. 2021-07-21 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/101535 * gimplify.c (omp_check_private): Properly skip ORT_TARGET_DATA contexts in which decl isn't privatized and for ORT_TARGET return false if decl is mapped. * c-c++-common/gomp/pr101535-1.c: New test. * c-c++-common/gomp/pr101535-2.c: New test.
2021-07-15gimplify: Fix endless recursion on volatile empty type reads/writes [PR101437]Jakub Jelinek1-1/+2
Andrew's recent change to optimize away during gimplification not just assignments of zero sized types, but also assignments of empty types, caused infinite recursion in the gimplifier. If such assignment is optimized away, we gimplify separately the to_p and from_p operands and throw away the result. When gimplifying the operand that is volatile, we run into the gimplifier code below, which has different handling for types with non-BLKmode mode, tries to gimplify those as vol.N = expr, and for BLKmode just throws those away. Zero sized types will always have BLKmode and so are fine, but for the non-BLKmode ones like struct S in the testcase, the vol.N = expr gimplification will reach again the gimplify_modify_expr code, see it is assignment of empty type and will gimplify again vol.N separately (non-volatile, so ok) and expr, on which it will recurse again. The following patch breaks that infinite recursion by ignoring bare volatile loads from empty types. If a volatile load or store for aggregates are supposed to be member-wise loads or stores, then there are no non-padding members in the empty types that should be copied and so it is probably ok. 2021-07-15 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/101437 * gimplify.c (gimplify_expr): Throw away volatile reads from empty types even if they have non-BLKmode TYPE_MODE. * gcc.c-torture/compile/pr101437.c: New test.

2021-06-24openmp: in_reduction clause support on target constructJakub Jelinek1-7/+119
This patch adds support for in_reduction clause on target construct, though for now only for synchronous targets (without nowait clause). The encountering thread in that case runs the target task and blocks until the target region ends, so it is implemented by remapping it before entering the target, initializing the private copy if not yet initialized for the current thread and then using the remapped addresses for the mapping addresses. For nowait combined with in_reduction the patch contains a hack where the nowait clause is ignored. To implement it correctly, I think we would need to create a new private variable for the in_reduction and initialize it before doing the async target and adjust the map addresses to that private variable and then pass a function pointer to the library routine with code where the callback would remap the address to the current threads private variable and use in_reduction combiner to combine the private variable we've created into the thread's copy. The library would then need to make sure that the routine is called in some thread participating in the parallel (and not in an unshackeled thread). 2021-06-24 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> gcc/ * tree.h (OMP_CLAUSE_MAP_IN_REDUCTION): Document meaning for OpenMP. * gimplify.c (gimplify_scan_omp_clauses): For OpenMP map clauses with OMP_CLAUSE_MAP_IN_REDUCTION flag partially defer gimplification of non-decl OMP_CLAUSE_DECL. 2021-06-22middle-end/101156 - remove not working optimization in gimplificationRichard Biener1-14/+1
This removes a premature and not working optimization from the gimplifier. When gimplification is requested not to produce a SSA name we try to avoid generating a copy when we did so anyway but instead replace the LHS of its definition. But that only works in case there are no uses of the SSA name already which is something we cannot easily check, so the following removes said optimization. Statistics on the whole bootstrap shows we hit this optimization only for libiberty/cp-demangle.c and overall we have 21652112 gimplifications where just 240 copies are elided. Preserving the optimization would require scanning the original expression and the pre and post sequences for SSA names and uses, that seems excessive to avoid these 240 copies. 2021-06-22 Richard Biener <rguenther@suse.de> PR middle-end/101156 * gimplify.c (gimplify_expr): Remove premature incorrect optimization. * gcc.dg/pr101156.c: New testcase.
2021-06-21inline-asm: Fix ICE with bitfields in "m" operands [PR100785]Jakub Jelinek1-3/+6
Bitfields, while they live in memory, aren't something inline-asm can easily operate on. For C and "=m" or "+m", we were diagnosing bitfields in the past in the FE, where c_mark_addressable had: case COMPONENT_REF: if (DECL_C_BIT_FIELD (TREE_OPERAND (x, 1))) { error ("cannot take address of bit-field %qD", TREE_OPERAND (x, 1)); return false; } but that check got moved in GCC 6 to build_unary_op instead and now we emit an error during expansion and ICE afterwards (i.e. error-recovery). For "m" it used to be diagnosed in c_mark_addressable too, but since GCC 6 it is ice-on-invalid. For C++, this was never diagnosed in the FE, but used to be diagnosed in the gimplifier and/or during expansion before 4.8. The following patch does multiple things: 1) diagnoses it in the FEs 2) stops emitting a redundant diagnostic in the gimplifier using the usual way, if we already see error_mark_node, we assume error has been emitted already and only diagnose if it wasn't error_mark_node; this helps diagnosing the same bug with multiple different errors 3) simplifies during expansion the inline asm if any errors have been reported (similarly how e.g. vregs pass if it detects errors on inline-asm either deletes them or simplifies to bare minimum - just labels), so that we don't have error-recovery ICEs there 2021-06-11 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR inline-asm/100785 gcc/ * gimplify.c (gimplify_asm_expr): Don't diagnose errors if output or input operands were already error_mark_node. * cfgexpand.c (expand_asm_stmt): If errors are emitted, remove all inputs, outputs and clobbers from the asm and set template to "". gcc/c/ * c-typeck.c (c_mark_addressable): Diagnose trying to make bit-fields addressable. gcc/cp/ * typeck.c (cxx_mark_addressable): Diagnose trying to make bit-fields addressable. gcc/testsuite/ * c-c++-common/pr100785.c: New test. * gcc.dg/pr48552-1.c: Don't expect invalid lvalue errors. * gcc.dg/pr48552-2.c: Likewise.

2021-05-21openmp: Fix up firstprivate+lastprivate clause handling [PR99928]Jakub Jelinek1-7/+38
The C/C++ clause splitting happens very early during construct parsing, but only the FEs later on handle possible instantiations, non-static member handling and array section lowering. In the OpenMP 5.0/5.1 rules, whether firstprivate is added to combined target depends on whether it isn't also mentioned in lastprivate or map clauses, but unfortunately I think such checks are much better done only when the FEs perform all the above mentioned changes. So, this patch arranges for the firstprivate clause to be copied or moved to combined target construct (as before), but sets flags on that clause, which tell the FE *finish_omp_clauses and the gimplifier it has been added only conditionally and let the FEs and gimplifier DTRT for these. 2021-05-21 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/99928 gcc/ * tree.h (OMP_CLAUSE_FIRSTPRIVATE_IMPLICIT_TARGET): Define. * gimplify.c (enum gimplify_omp_var_data): Fix up GOVD_MAP_HAS_ATTACHMENTS value, add GOVD_FIRSTPRIVATE_IMPLICIT. 2021-05-19openmp: Handle lastprivate on combined target correctly [PR99928]Jakub Jelinek1-65/+38
This patch deals with 2 issues: 1) the gimplifier couldn't differentiate between #pragma omp parallel master #pragma omp taskloop simd and #pragma omp parallel master taskloop simd when there is a significant difference for clause handling between the two; as master construct doesn't have any clauses, we don't currently represent it during gimplification by an gimplification omp context at all, so this patch makes sure we don't set OMP_PARALLEL_COMBINED on parallel master when not combined further. If we ever add a separate master context during gimplification, we'd use ORT_COMBINED_MASTER vs. ORT_MASTER (or MASKED probably). 2) lastprivate when combined with target should be map(tofrom:) on the target, this change handles it only when not combined with firstprivate though, that will need further work (similarly to linear or reduction). 2021-05-19 Jakub Jelinek <jakub@redhat.com> PR middle-end/99928 gcc/ * tree.h (OMP_MASTER_COMBINED): Define. * gimplify.c (gimplify_scan_omp_clauses): Rewrite lastprivate handling for outer combined/composite constructs to a loop. 2021-05-05Generate debug info for local dynamic record typesEric Botcazou1-6/+14
In Ada you can embed VLAs in local record types and thus end up with dynamic offsets in record types, which are not well described in DWARF because 1) the temporaries generated for them by the gimplifier are naturally marked DECL_IGNORED_P and 2) when the types are referenced in nested subprograms, the DWARF back-end does not correctly handle the rewritten references. gcc/ * dwarf2out.c (loc_list_from_tree_1) <DECL>: During early DWARF, do not expand the VALUE_EXPR of variables put in the non-local frame. * gimplify.c (gimplify_type_sizes) <RECORD_TYPE>: If the type is not to be ignored for debug info, ensure its variable offsets are not. gcc/testsuite/ * gnat.dg/debug8.adb: Minor tweak. * gnat.dg/debug11.adb: Likewise. * gnat.dg/debug16.adb: Likewise. * gnat.dg/debug17.adb: New test. * gnat.dg/specs/debug1.ads: Minor tweak.
