For PR106099 I've added IFN_TRAP as an alternative to __builtin_trap
meant for __builtin_unreachable purposes (e.g. with -funreachable-traps
or some sanitizers) which doesn't need vops because __builtin_unreachable
doesn't need them either. This works in various cases, but unfortunately
IPA likes to decide on the redirection to unreachable just by tweaking
the cgraph edge to point to a different FUNCTION_DECL. As internal
functions don't have a decl, this causes problems like in the following
testcase.
The following patch fixes it by removing IFN_TRAP again and replacing
it with user inaccessible BUILT_IN_UNREACHABLE_TRAP, so that e.g.
builtin_decl_unreachable can return it directly and we don't need to tweak
it later in wherever we actually replace the call stmt.

My earlier patches gimplify the simplest non-side-effects assumptions
into if (cond) ; else __builtin_unreachable (); and throw the rest
on the floor.
The following patch attempts to do something with the rest too.
For -O0, it throws the more complex assumptions on the floor,
we don't expect optimizations and the assumptions are there to allow
optimizations. Otherwise arranges for the assumptions to be
visible in the IL as
.ASSUME (_Z2f4i._assume.0, i_1(D));
call where there is an artificial function like:

with the semantics that there is UB unless the assumption function
would return true.
Aldy, could ranger handle this? If it sees .ASSUME call,
walk the body of such function from the edge(s) to exit with the
assumption that the function returns true, so above set _2 [true, true]
and from there derive that i_1(D) [43, 43] and then map the argument
in the assumption function to argument passed to IFN_ASSUME (note,
args there are shifted by 1)?
During gimplification it actually gimplifies it into
[[assume (D.2591)]]

which is a new GIMPLE_ASSUME statement wrapping a GIMPLE_BIND and
specifying a boolean_type_node variable which contains the result.
The GIMPLE_ASSUME then survives just a couple of passes and is lowered
during gimple lowering into an outlined separate function and
IFN_ASSUME call. Variables declared inside of the
condition (both static and automatic) just change context, automatic
variables from the caller are turned into parameters (note, as the code
is never executed, I handle this way even non-POD types, we don't need to
bother pretending there would be user copy constructors etc. involved).
The assume_function artificial functions are then optimized until the
new assumptions pass which doesn't do much right now but I'd like to see
there the backwards ranger walk and filling up of SSA_NAME_RANGE_INFO
for the parameters.
There are a few further changes I'd like to do, like ignoring the
.ASSUME calls in inlining size estimations (but haven't figured out where
it is done), or for LTO arrange for the assume functions to be emitted
in all partitions that reference those (usually there will be just one,
unless code with the assumption got inlined, versioned etc.).

CFG cleanup resets the control altering flag for noreturn functions
when they are ECF_LEAF (like __builtin_unreachable ()). The
.ABNORMAL_DISPATCHER call built during CFG construction is not
marked as control altering. Several passes inserting traps or
unreachables fail to set the flag. And more.

[PR106099]
__builtin_unreachable and __ubsan_handle_builtin_unreachable don't
use vops, they are marked const/leaf/noreturn/nothrow/cold.
But __builtin_trap uses vops, isn't const, just leaf/noreturn/nothrow/cold.
This is I believe so that when users explicitly use __builtin_trap in their
sources they get stores visible at the trap side.
-fsanitize=unreachable -fsanitize-undefined-trap-on-error used to transform
__builtin_unreachable to __builtin_trap even in the past, but the sanopt pass
has TODO_update_ssa, so it worked fine.
Now that gimple_build_builtin_unreachable can build a __builtin_trap call
right away, we can run into problems that whenever we need it we would need
to either manually or through TODO_update* ensure the vops being updated.
Though, as it is originally __builtin_unreachable which is just implemented
as trap, I think for this case it is fine to avoid vops. For this the
patch introduces IFN_TRAP, which has ECF_* flags like __builtin_unreachable
and is expanded as __builtin_trap.

When not optimizing, we can't do anything useful with unreachability in
terms of code performance, so we might as well improve debugging by turning
__builtin_unreachable into a trap. I think it also makes sense to do this
when we're explicitly optimizing for the debugging experience.
In the PR richi suggested introducing an -funreachable-traps flag for this.
This functionality is already implemented as -fsanitize=unreachable
-fsanitize-trap=unreachable, and we want to share the implementation, but it
does seem useful to have a separate flag that isn't affected by the various
sanitization controls. -fsanitize=unreachable takes priority over
-funreachable-traps if both are enabled.
Jakub observed that this would slow down -O0 by default from running the
sanopt pass, so this revision avoids the need for sanopt by rewriting calls
introduced by the compiler immediately, and calls written by the user at
fold time. Many of the calls introduced by the compiler are also rewritten
immediately to ubsan calls when not trapping, which fixes ubsan-8b.C;
previously the call to f() was optimized away before sanopt. But this early
rewriting isn't practical for uses of __builtin_unreachable in
devirtualization and such, so sanopt rewriting is still done for
non-trapping sanitize.

The following fixes wrongly used is_gimple_condexpr and makes
canonicalize_cond_expr_cond honor either, delaying final checking
to callers where all but two in ifcombine are doing the correct
thing already.
This fixes bugs but is now mainly in preparation for making
COND_EXPRs in GIMPLE assignments no longer have a GENERIC expression
as condition operand like we already transitioned VEC_COND_EXPR earlier.

I've already committed it, so it can be only dealt with an incremental
patch.
Here is a patch that adjusts instead gimple_builtin_call_types_compatible_p,
after the assert:

if (tree decl = builtin_decl_explicit (DECL_FUNCTION_CODE (fndecl)))
fndecl = decl;
but we then lose the theoretical possibility of comparing against the

calls to that function we also want this rather than what they do currently.

So, as a preparation step, this patch adjusts gimple_call_builtin_p
and gimple_call_combined_fn so that they check argument types against
the builtin_decl_explicit TYPE_ARG_TYPES rather than against the
actual used fndecl.
