2022-06-13d: Match function declarations of gcc built-ins from any module.Iain Buclaw1-14/+122
Declarations of recognised gcc built-in functions are now matched from any module. Previously, only the `core.stdc' package was scanned. In addition to matching of the symbol, any user-applied `@attributes' or `pragma(mangle)' name will be applied to the built-in decl as well. Because there would now be no control over where built-in declarations are coming from, the warning option `-Wbuiltin-declaration-mismatch' has been implemented in the D front-end too. gcc/d/ChangeLog: * d-builtins.cc: Include builtins.h. (gcc_builtins_libfuncs): Remove. (strip_type_modifiers): New function. (matches_builtin_type): New function. (covariant_with_builtin_type_p): New function. (maybe_set_builtin_1): Set front-end built-in if identifier matches gcc built-in name. Apply user-specified attributes and assembler name overrides to the built-in. The D front-end is now itself written in D, in order to build GDC, you will need a working GDC compiler (GCC version 9.1 or later). GCC changes: - Add support for bootstrapping the D front-end. These add the required components in order to have a D front-end written in D itself. In order to allow user-code to determine whether a back-end builtin is available without error, LANG_HOOKS_BUILTIN_FUNCTION_EXT_SCOPE has been defined to delay putting back-end builtin functions until the ISA that defines them has been declared. However in D, there is no global namespace. All builtins get pushed into the `gcc.builtins' module, which is constructed during the semantic analysis pass, which has already finished by the time target attributes are evaluated. So builtins are not pushed by the new langhook because they would be ultimately ignored. Builtins exposed to D code then can now only be altered by the command-line. This is the inverse of `__traits(parent, member)'. - isReturnOnStack: determines if a function's return value is placed on the stack, or is returned via registers. - isZeroInit: used to detect if a type's default initializer has no non-zero bits. - getTargetInfo: used to query features of the target being compiled for, the back-end can expand this to register any key to handle the given argument, however a reliable subset exists which includes "cppRuntimeLibrary", "cppStd", "floatAbi", and "objectFormat". - getLocation: returns a tuple whose entries correspond to the filename, line number, and column number of where the argument was declared. - hasPostblit: used to detect if a type is a struct with a postblit. - isCopyable: used to detect if a type allows copying its value. - getVisibility: an alias for the getProtection trait. 2020-06-02d: Fix segfault in build_frontend_type on alpha-*-*Iain Buclaw1-3/+13
The va_list type for Alpha includes a nameless dummy field for alignment purposes. To transpose this into D, a field named "__pad%d" is inserted into the struct definition. It was also noticed that in the D front-end AST copy of the backend type, all offsets for fields generated by build_frontend_type were set to zero due to a wrong assumption that DECL_FIELD_OFFSET would have a non-zero value. This has been fixed to use byte_position instead. gcc/d/ChangeLog: * d-builtins.cc (build_frontend_type): Handle struct fields with NULL DECL_NAME. Use byte_position to get the real field offset.

On writing the tests, a forward-reference bug was discovered on x86_64 during va_list type semantic.
