A one-argument form of the 'LangEnabledBy' option property isn't defined,
and effectively appears to be a no-op. Removing that one, the
'gcc/c-family/c.opt:Warray-bounds' option definition record becomes empty,
and doesn't add anything over 'gcc/common.opt:Warray-bounds', and may thus
be removed entirely. This only changes 'build-gcc/gcc/optionlist'
accordingly, but no other generated files.

When trying to make use of the selftest framework over on the rust
frontend, we ran into issues where rust1 was expected to produce errors
containing C-like type names such as `int`.
I had gotten in contact with David Malcolm on the gcc mailing list [1],
who advised moving some test functions to a better location. The
offending functions have also been renamed in order to better fit the C
family of tests, and are thus not called when performing general
selftests anymore.

The intent of r11-6729 is that it prints something that helps user to figure
out what exactly is being accessed.
When we find a unique non-static data member that is being accessed, even
when we can't fold it nicely, IMNSHO it is better to print
((sometype *)&var)->field
or
(*(sometype *)&var).field
instead of
*(fieldtype *)((char *)&var + 56)
because the user doesn't know what is at offset 56, we shouldn't ask user
to decipher structure layout etc.
One question is if we could return something better for the TYPE_PTRMEMFUNC_FLAG
RECORD_TYPE members here (something that would print it more naturally/readably
in a C++ way), though the fact that the routine is in c-family makes it
harder.
Another one is whether we shouldn't punt for FIELD_DECLs that don't have
nicely printable name of its containing scope, something like:

or so. This patch implements that.
Note the returned cop is a COMPONENT_REF where the first argument has a
nicely printable type name (x with type sp), but sp's TYPE_MAIN_VARIANT
is the unnamed TYPE_PTRMEMFUNC_FLAG. So another possibility would be if
we see such a problem for the FIELD_DECL's scope, check if TYPE_MAIN_VARIANT
of the first COMPONENT_REF's argument is equal to that scope and in that
case use TREE_TYPE of the first COMPONENT_REF's argument as the scope
instead.

A well-formed call to std::move/forward is equivalent to a cast, but the
former being a function call means the compiler generates debug info,
which persists even after the call gets inlined, for an operation that's
never interesting to debug.
This patch addresses this problem by folding calls to std::move/forward
and other cast-like functions into simple casts as part of the frontend's
general expression folding routine. This behavior is controlled by a
new flag -ffold-simple-inlines, and otherwise by -fno-inline, so that
users can enable this folding with -O0 (which implies -fno-inline).
After this patch with -O2 and a non-checking compiler, debug info size
for some testcases from range-v3 and cmcstl2 decreases by as much as ~10%
and overall compile time and memory usage decreases by ~2%.

-fwrapv and C++20+ [PR104711]
As mentioned in the PR, different standards have different definition
on what is an UB left shift. They all agree on out of bounds (including
negative) shift count.
The rules used by ubsan are:
C99-C2x ((unsigned) x >> (uprecm1 - y)) != 0 then UB
C++11-C++17 x < 0 || ((unsigned) x >> (uprecm1 - y)) > 1 then UB
C++20 and later everything is well defined
Now, for C++20, I've in the P1236R1 implementation added an early
exit for -Wshift-overflow* warning so that it never warns, but apparently
-Wshift-negative-value remained as is. As it is well defined in C++20,
the following patch doesn't enable -Wshift-negative-value from -Wextra
anymore for C++20 and later, if users want for compatibility with C++17
and earlier get the warning, they still can by using -Wshift-negative-value
explicitly.
Another thing is -fwrapv, that is an extension to the standards, so it is up
to us how exactly we define that case. Our ubsan code treats
TYPE_OVERFLOW_WRAPS (type0) and cxx_dialect >= cxx20 the same as only
diagnosing out of bounds shift count and nothing else and IMHO it is most
sensical to treat -fwrapv signed left shifts the same as C++20 treats

Under the hood (except for FEs and ubsan from FEs) GCC middle-end doesn't
consider UB in left shifts dependent on the first operand's value, only
the out of bounds shifts.
While this change isn't a regression, I'd think it is useful for GCC 12,
it doesn't add new warnings, but just removes warnings that aren't
appropriate.

build_binary_op [PR104531]
The MIN_EXPR/MAX_EXPR handling in *build_binary_op is minimal (especially
for C FE), because min/max aren't expressions the languages contain directly.
I'm using those for the
#pragma omp atomic
x = x < y ? y : x;
forms, but e.g. for the attached testcase we normally reject _Complex int vs. int
comparisons, in C++ due to MIN/MAX_EXPR we were diagnosing it as invalid types
for <unknown> while in C we accept it and ICEd later on.
The following patch will try build_binary_op with LT_EXPR on the operands first
to get needed diagnostics and fail if it returns error_mark_node.

The comment in shorten_compare says:
/* If either arg is decimal float and the other is float, fail. */
but the callers of shorten_compare don't expect anything like failure
as a possibility from the function, callers require that the function
promotes the operands to the same type, whether the original selected
*restype_ptr one or some shortened.
So, if we choose not to shorten, we should still promote to the original
*restype_ptr.

The following adds __attribute__((vector_mask)) to get access to
the corresponding mask type for a vector type. The implementation
simply uses truth_type_for so creating a mask type that's not
what the target would choose as canonical, say a AVX2 style one
when AVX512VL is enabled, is not possible. It might be possible
to provide access to that with an optional argument specifying
the precision of the bool element. The syntax is as simple as
typedef vector_type mask_type __attribute__((vector_mask));
In theory this allows to create unit testcases for vector
lowering and ISEL.

which was introduced in OpenMP 5.1 (OpenMP API 5.1 specification pp. 197ff):
has_device_addr(list)

Stephan Bergmann reported that our -Wbidi-chars breaks the build
of LibreOffice because we warn about UCNs even when their usage
is correct: LibreOffice constructs strings piecewise, as in:
aText = u"\u202D" + aText;
and warning about that is overzealous. Since no editor (AFAIK)
interprets UCNs to show them as Unicode characters, there's less
risk in misinterpreting them, and so perhaps we shouldn't warn
about them by default. However, identifiers containing UCNs or
programs generating other programs could still cause confusion,
so I'm keeping the UCN checking. To turn it on, you just need
to use -Wbidi-chars=unpaired,ucn or -Wbidi-chars=any,ucn.
The implementation is done by using the new EnumSet feature.

As can be seen on the testcase, GCC 11 no longer warns if the format
string is wrapped inside of ()s.
This regressed with r11-2457-gdf5cf47a978, which added
if (TREE_NO_WARNING (param)) return;
to check_function_arguments_recurse. That function is used with a callback
for two cases, for -Wformat and for -Wnonnull. For the latter it is
desirable to not warn in parameters or their subexpressions where that
warning is suppressed, but for -Wformat the function is used solely
to discover the string literals if any so that the c-format.cc code can
diagnose them. I believe no warning suppression should stand in the
way of that, -Wformat* warnings should be decided from warning suppression
on the CALL_EXPR only.
In the PR Martin argued that now that we have specialized
warning_suppressed_p we should use it, so instead of adding a bool
arg to check_function_arguments_recurse I've added opt_code to the
function, but will defer the warning_suppressed_p change to him.
For OPT_Wformat_ we don't want to call it anyway at all (as I said,
I think there should be no suppression for it during the string discovery,
there isn't just one -Wformat= option, there are many and
warning_suppression_p even with no_warnings actually tests the
TREE_NO_WARNING bit).
Initially, I thought I'd restrict also call to fn with format_arg attribute
handling in check_function_arguments_recurse to OPT_Wformat_ only, but
after looking around, it perhaps is intentional that way, most functions
with format_arg attribute don't have nonnull attribute for that arg too,
various gettext implementations handle NULL argument by passing it through,
but when result of gettext (NULL) etc. is passed to non-NULL argument, it
makes sense to warn.

This patch adds a new __attribute__ ((tainted_args)) to the C/C++ frontends.
It can be used on function decls: the analyzer will treat as tainted
all parameters to the function and all buffers pointed to by parameters
to the function. Adding this in one place to the Linux kernel's
__SYSCALL_DEFINEx macro allows the analyzer to treat all syscalls as
having tainted inputs. This gives some coverage of system calls without
needing to "teach" the analyzer about "__user" - an example of the use
of this can be seen in CVE-2011-2210, where given:

the analyzer will treat the nbytes param as under attacker control, and
can complain accordingly:

Additionally, the patch allows the attribute to be used on field decls:
specifically function pointers. Any function used as an initializer
for such a field gets treated as being called with tainted arguments.
An example can be seen in CVE-2020-13143, where adding
__attribute__((tainted_args)) to the "store" callback of
configfs_attribute:

allows the analyzer to see:

As before this currently still needs -fanalyzer-checker=taint (in
addition to -fanalyzer).
