2020-05-18command: Remove the cmd_tbl_t typedefSimon Glass1-2/+3
We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward declarations which means that header files must include the full header to access them. Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is now not useful. This requires quite a few header-file additions. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2019-07-10fdtdec: test: Fix memory leakThierry Reding1-0/+2
Free the memory allocated to store the test FDT upon test completion to avoid leaking the memory. We don't bother cleaning up on test failure since the code is broken in that case and should be fixed, in which case the leak would also go away. 2019-05-21fdtdec: Remove fdt_{addr,size}_unpack()Thierry Reding1-2/+6
U-Boot already defines the {upper,lower}_32_bits() macros that have the same purpose. Use the existing macros instead of defining new APIs. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2019-04-11fdtdec: test: Add carveout testsThierry Reding1-0/+152
Implement carveout tests for 32-bit and 64-bit builds. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2019-04-11fdtdec: test: Use compound statement macrosThierry Reding1-42/+22
This eliminates the need for intermediate helper functions and allow the macros to return a value so that it can be used subsequently. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2019-04-11fdtdec: test: Fix build warningThierry Reding1-0/+2
Hide the declaration of the "fd" variable When not building a DEBUG configuration, to avoid the variable being unused. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-1/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-03-05libfdt: move headers to <linux/libfdt.h> and <linux/libfdt_env.h>Masahiro Yamada1-1/+1
Thomas reported U-Boot failed to build host tools if libfdt-devel package is installed because tools include libfdt headers from /usr/include/ instead of using internal ones. This commit moves the header code: include/libfdt.h -> include/linux/libfdt.h include/libfdt_env.h -> include/linux/libfdt_env.h and replaces include directives: #include <libfdt.h> -> #include <linux/libfdt.h> #include <libfdt_env.h> -> #include <linux/libfdt_env.h> Reported-by: Thomas Petazzoni <thomas.petazzoni@bootlin.com> Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com>

2012-03-29fdt: Add tests for fdtdecSimon Glass1-0/+226
The fdtdec_find_aliases_for_id() function is complicated enough that it really should have some tests. This does not necessarily need to be committed to U-Boot, but it might be useful. (note there are a few minor inconsistencies with this patch which will be cleaned up when the USB series is applied) Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Signed-off-by: Tom Warren <twarren@nvidia.com>
