2020-06-26Convert CONFIG_BAUDRATE to KconfigTom Rini1-1/+0
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_BAUDRATE Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2019-08-25Convert CONFIG_SYS_SPI_U_BOOT_OFFS to KconfigHannes Schmelzer1-3/+0
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SYS_SPI_U_BOOT_OFFS Signed-off-by: Hannes Schmelzer <hannes.schmelzer@br-automation.com> [trini: Expose this for SPL_SPI_SUNXI for now] Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2019-08-25moveconfig: prepare moving CONFIG_SYS_SPI_U_BOOT_OFFS to Kconfig step 2Hannes Schmelzer1-0/+2
some boards have common headers for several individual build-targets where CONFIG_SYS_SPI_U_BOOT_OFFS is defined even it is not needed (only needed if CONFIG_SPL_SPI_LOAD is defined also). Take this define here under '#ifdef CONFIG_SPL_SPI_LOAD' for having a clean run of moveconfig.py Signed-off-by: Hannes Schmelzer <hannes.schmelzer@br-automation.com>
2019-08-25moveconfig: prepare moving CONFIG_SYS_SPI_U_BOOT_OFFS to Kconfig step 1Hannes Schmelzer1-1/+1
Some boards have coded this offset with formula or bitshifts in their board-config. Manually convert these things into hex-values to be able using moveconfig.py afterwards. Signed-off-by: Hannes Schmelzer <hannes.schmelzer@br-automation.com>
2019-08-23rockchip: Move config SYS_MALLOC_LEN to KconfigKever Yang1-1/+0
Use Kconfig for option SYS_MALLOC_LEN and default to 0x2000000. Signed-off-by: Kever Yang <kever.yang@rock-chips.com>
2019-07-26rockchip: add CONFIG_IRAM_BASE for all SoCsKever Yang1-0/+2
Rockchip SoCs have internal sram for bootrom data area and for sdram init program space. Introduce the base address in case we need to use it. Signed-off-by: Kever Yang <kever.yang@rock-chips.com>
2019-07-20rockchip: rk3128: use ARM arch timer instead of rk_timerKever Yang1-3/+4
We prefer to use ARM arch timer instead of rockchip timer, so that we are using the same timer for SPL, U-Boot and Kernel, which will make things simple and easy to track to boot time. Signed-off-by: Kever Yang <kever.yang@rock-chips.com>
2019-03-25Convert CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_* to KconfigPatrick Delaunay1-1/+0
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_BUS CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_CS CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_MODE CONFIG_SF_DEFAULT_SPEED I use moveconfig script and then manual check on generated u-boot.cfg to solve the remaining issue. Signed-off-by: Patrick Delaunay <patrick.delaunay@st.com>

2019-01-19Kconfig: Migrate BOUNCE_BUFFERPhilipp Tomsich1-3/+0
The bounce buffer is used by a few drivers (most of the MMC drivers) to overcome limitations in their respective DMA implementation. This moves the configuration to Kconfig and makes it user-selectable (even though it will be a required feature to make those drivers work): the expected usage is for drivers depending on this to 'select' it unconditionally from their respective Kconfig (see follow-up patches). This commit includes a full migration using moveconfig.py to ensure that each commit compiles. To ensure bisectability we update dependencies of various drivers to now select BOUNCE_BUFFER when needed. 2018-08-16configs: Migrate CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKSTom Rini1-1/+0
We have the following cases: - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was defined, migrate normally - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS_MAX was defined and then used for CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS after a check, just migrate it over now. - CONFIG_NR_DRAM_BANKS was very oddly defined on p2771-0000-* (to 1024 + 2), set this to 8. 2018-07-21rockchip: utilize CONFIG_DEFAULT_FDT_FILEKlaus Goger1-0/+1
Currently the fdtfile environment variable is set to CONFIG_DEFAULT_DEVICE_TREE which is Ñ–nternally used as U-Boot devicetree source. The OS can use a different filename and Kconfig gives us the ability to select a default devicetree via CONFIG_DEFAULT_FDT_FILE. This also gives user configuring U-Boot via menuconfig the behaviour someone would expect. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2018-04-27Convert CONFIG_SPI to KconfigAdam Ford1-1/+0
This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. 2018-04-25rockchip: enable SYS_NS16550 for all SoCs by defaultKever Yang1-2/+0

2018-02-11configs: Migrate CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASETom Rini1-1/+0
On the NIOS2 and Xtensa architectures, we do not have CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE set. This is a strict migration of the current values into the defconfig and removing them from the headers. I did not attempt to add more default values in and for now will leave that to maintainers. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

fat.h unconditionally defines CONFIG_SUPPORT_VFAT (and has done since 2003), so as a result VFAT support is always enabled regardless of whether a board config defines it or not. Drop this unnecessary option. Signed-off-by: Tuomas Tynkkynen <tuomas@tuxera.com>
