2019-11-20env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini1-15/+0
- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-11-20env: Remove useless CONFIG_ENV_SIZE_REDUND and fix ENV_IS_REDUND checkTom Rini1-1/+0
We have CONFIG_ENV_SIZE_IS_REDUND but don't really use it. We have one board where we can simply multiple CONFIG_ENV_SIZE by two for the same result. The other place where we could but were not previously using this is for where env_internal.h checks for if we should set ENV_IS_EMBEDDED. This seems like the most likely use, historically, of the variable, but it was not used. Add logic to check for this now. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. On i.MX6SX, 6UL and 7D, there are two enet controllers each has a MDIO port. But Some boards share one MDIO port for the two enets. So introduce a configuration CONFIG_FEC_MXC_MDIO_BASE to indicate the MDIO port for sharing. In Kconfig, user needs enable CONFIG_FEC_MXC_SHARE_MDIO first to enter the CONFIG_FEC_MXC_MDIO_BASE. We repeated partial moves for CONFIG_SYS_NO_FLASH, but this is not completed. Finish this work by the tool. During this move, let's rename it to CONFIG_MTD_NOR_FLASH. Some archs/boards specify their own default by pre-defining the config which causes the Kconfig system to mix up the order of the configs in the defconfigs... This will cause merge pain if allowed to proliferate. Remove the configs that behave this way from the archs. A few configs still remain, but that is because they only exist as defaults and do not have a proper Kconfig entry. 2013-07-24ARM: mxs: Consolidate configuration optionsMarek Vasut1-132/+41
Pull all the duplicate configuration options into configs/mxs.h from the board configuration files. This reduces the files greatly and makes them somewhat more readable. Besides, we do no longer have such a horrible duplication of code. Note that the mx23evk grew in size slightly. This is due to the CONFIG_SYS_CBSIZE now being set to 1024 as it is on the rest of MXS systems. This patch also fixes the OCRAM size for i.MX23. The i.MX23 has only 32kB of OCRAM, while i.MX28 has 128kB of OCRAM. I verified the configuration didn't change for each of the boards, but I didn't boot-test it on the boards I do not have. I configured U-Boot for each board using the "make ... <board>_config" command and then ran "cpp -I include -dM include/config.h" , which dumped all the configuration options. I did this both before and after this patch and finally compared the results for each MXS board. Actually, the results do differ slightly, since the configs/mxs.h file now properly includes the correct iomux-mx23.h or iomux-mx28.h , so while comparing, I had to ignore these new defines. These have no impact on U-Boot configuration though. It comes with an empty slot (U23), which allows the insertion of a 48-pin TSOP flash device. Tested with a K9LBG08U0D.
