2021-12-27Finish conversion of CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to KconfigTom Rini1-6/+1
In order to finish moving this symbol to Kconfig for all platforms, we need to do a few more things. First, for all platforms that define this to a function, introduce CONFIG_DYNAMIC_SYS_CLK_FREQ, similar to CONFIG_DYNAMIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ and populate clock_legacy.h. This entails also switching all users from CONFIG_SYS_CLK_FREQ to get_board_sys_clk() and updating a few preprocessor tests. With that done, all platforms that define a value here can be converted to Kconfig, and a fall-back of zero is sufficiently safe to use (and what is used today in cases where code may or may not have this available). As this symbol can either be a fixed value or the function get_board_ddr_clk, migration is tricky. Introduce a choice of DYNAMIC or STATIC_DDR_CLK_FREQ. If DYNAMIC, we continue to use the board defined get_board_ddr_clk function. If STATIC, set CONFIG_DDR_CLK_FREQ to that value and now include/clock_legacy.h contains the function prototype or defines get_board_ddr_clk() to that static value. - Rename usages of CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR to CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR based on current usage. - Convert CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR_LEN, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_BUS, CONFIG_CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_SIZE CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_BITS and CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_DELAY_MS to Kconfig. - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-06-19armv8: ls2088aqds: Fix MC firmware loading during SD bootWasim Khan1-5/+5
During SD boot, MC firmware and DPC are copied from SD card to DDR. Size reserved between MC and DPC firmware on DDR is 1MB. If the size of MC firmware(load address 0x80000000) is more than 1 MB then part of MC firmware will be overwritten by DPC firmware (load address 0x80100000). Fix: Update the MC/DPL/DPC firmware's DDR address as per their respective addresses in SD card. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents.
