2022-07-29mvebu: pinctrl: apply SDHCI PHY config for A7KKonstantin Porotchkin1-1/+3
Current pin control driver applies SDHCI PHY MUX selection when board DT calls for eMMC function on MPP wires. However, for CP side eMMC, only the "armada-8k-cpm-pinctrl" compatibility string is taken into account, which causes CP-SDHCI on Armada-7K boards to fail. This patch adds "armada-7k-pinctrl" compatibility string handling for the CP-SDHCI PHY configuration case. 2021-02-02common: Drop asm/global_data.h from common headerSimon Glass1-0/+1
Move this out of the common header and include it only where needed. In a number of cases this requires adding "struct udevice;" to avoid adding another large header or in other cases replacing / adding missing header files that had been pulled in, very indirectly. Finally, we have a few cases where we did not need to include <asm/global_data.h> at all, so remove that include. 2020-12-13dm: treewide: Rename auto_alloc_size members to be shorterSimon Glass1-1/+1
This construct is quite long-winded. In earlier days it made some sense since auto-allocation was a strange concept. But with driver model now used pretty universally, we can shorten this to 'auto'. This reduces verbosity and makes it easier to read. Coincidentally it also ensures that every declaration is on one line, thus making dtoc's job easier. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-08-22treewide: convert devfdt_get_addr_ptr() to dev_read_addr_ptr()Masahiro Yamada1-1/+1
When you enable CONFIG_OF_LIVE, you will end up with a lot of conversions. To help this tedious work, this commit converts devfdt_get_addr_ptr() to dev_read_addr_ptr() by coccinelle. I also removed redundant casts because dev_read_addr_ptr() returns an opaque pointer. To generate this commit, I ran the following semantic patch excluding include/dm/. <smpl> @@ type T; expression dev; @@ -(T *)devfdt_get_addr_ptr(dev) +dev_read_addr_ptr(dev) @@ expression dev; @@ -devfdt_get_addr_ptr(dev) +dev_read_addr_ptr(dev) </smpl> Signed-off-by: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-08-22dm: core: Fix devfdt_get_addr_ptr return valueOvidiu Panait1-1/+1
According to the description of devfdt_get_addr_ptr, this function should return NULL on failure, but currently it returns (void *)FDT_ADDR_T_NONE. Fix this by making devfdt_get_addr_ptr return NULL on failure, as described in the function comments. Also, update the drivers currently checking (void *)FDT_ADDR_T_NONE to check for NULL. 2018-05-29mvebu: pinctrl: Add SD/eMMC PHY selector to the driverKonstantin Porotchkin1-2/+57
When the pin control driver selects SD/eMMC function for a pin group, there is additional configuration to be done for this case - switch the PHY to work with SDHCI interface. This patch adds the missing functionality into the pin control driver. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-06-01dm: Rename dev_addr..() functionsSimon Glass1-1/+1
These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..() prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename the existing functions to avoid confusion. In the end we will have: 1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree 2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only 3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use. Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file. 2017-02-08dm: core: Replace of_offset with accessorSimon Glass1-3/+3
At present devices use a simple integer offset to record the device tree node associated with the device. In preparation for supporting a live device tree, which uses a node pointer instead, refactor existing code to access this field through an inline function. 2016-12-12arm64: mvebu: pinctrl: Add pin control driver for A8K familyKonstantin Porotchkin1-0/+179
Add a DM port of Marvell pin control driver. The A8K SoC family contains several silicone dies interconnected in a single package. Every die is normally equipped with its own pin controller unit. There are 2 pin controllers in A70x0 SoC and 3 in A80x0 SoC.
