This patch adds support for running RX training using new command called "rx_training" Usage: rx_training - rx_training <cp id> <comphy id> RX training allows to improve link quality (for SFI mode) by running training sequence between us and the link partner, this allows to reach better link quality then using static configuration. 2019-11-20env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini1-0/+3
- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-11-20env: Add CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR symbolTom Rini1-0/+1
Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to introduce a new symbol for this particular use case. Commit 2b4d964718c0 ("arm64: mvebu: a8k: autodetect RAM size") added an ATF query to get the detected RAM size on Armada 8K platforms. To be usable we must have 2 DRAM banks. Set Armada 8K configurations to 2 banks. On the NIOS2 and Xtensa architectures, we do not have CONFIG_SYS_TEXT_BASE set. This is a strict migration of the current values into the defconfig and removing them from the headers. cmd/Makefile has: ifdef CONFIG_FPGA obj-$(CONFIG_CMD_FPGA) += fpga.o endif which means that if CONFIG_FPGA is not set, CONFIG_CMD_FPGA silently does nothing. Let's remove that Makefile conditional and instead express this equivalent dependency in Kconfig, so a lot of redundant # CONFIG_CMD_FPGA is not set can be removed from board defconfigs that don't actually have an FPGA. 2017-07-12arm64: mvebu: use single defconfig for Armada8K development boardsIgal Liberman1-0/+70
Currently, Marvell Armada8k development board use 3 different defconfigs: mvebu_db-88f7040-nand_defconfig mvebu_db-88f7040_defconfig mvebu_db-88f8040_defconfig Having 3 different defconfigs makes maintenance difficult. This patch removes the defconfigs mentioned above and introduce a new defconfig which represents the Armada8k family. NOTE: In order not to break automatic tools compilation, a default device-tree is set in the defconfig (armada-8040-db). However, when compiling u-boot, the user MUST explicitly export the DEVICE_TREE for the requested board because using A80x0 device-tree on A70x0 might break the device. For more information, refer to "doc/README.marvell" (intoduced in this patch).
