2022-04-20Kconfig: Change SYS_MALLOC_F_LEN default to 0x2000Tom Rini1-1/+0

2022-01-21spl: Convert SYS_MMCSD_RAW_MODE_KERNEL_SECTOR to KconfigAlexandru Gagniuc1-0/+2
Falcon mode is very useful in improving boot speed. A question that Falcon mode asks is "Where do I look for the kernel". With MMC boot media, the correct answer is CONFIG_SYS_MMCSD_RAW_MODE_KERNEL_SECTOR. The scope of this patch is to move this to Kconfig. It is possible for a system to support Falcon mode from NOR but not MMC. In that case, mmc_load_image_raw_os() would not be used. To address this, conditionally compile mmc_load_image_raw_os() when SPL_FALCON_BOOT_MMCSD, instead of SPL_OS_BOOT. - Rename usages of CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR to CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR based on current usage. - Convert CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_ADDR_LEN, CONFIG_SYS_I2C_EEPROM_BUS, CONFIG_CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_SIZE CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_BITS and CONFIG_SYS_EEPROM_PAGE_WRITE_DELAY_MS to Kconfig. 2020-06-29spi: Convert CONFIG_DM_SPI* to CONFIG_$(SPL_TPL_)DM_SPI*Lukasz Majewski1-0/+2
This change allows more fine tuning of driver model based SPI support in SPL and TPL. It is now possible to explicitly enable/disable the DM_SPI support in SPL and TPL via Kconfig option. Before this change it was necessary to use: /* SPI Flash Configs */ #if defined(CONFIG_SPL_BUILD) #undef CONFIG_DM_SPI #undef CONFIG_DM_SPI_FLASH #undef CONFIG_SPI_FLASH_MTD #endif in the ./include/configs/<board>.h, which is error prone and shall be avoided when we strive to switch to Kconfig. The goal of this patch: Provide distinction for DM_SPI support in both U-Boot proper and SPL (TPL). Valid use case is when U-Boot proper wants to use DM_SPI, but SPL must still support non DM driver. Another use case is the conversion of non DM/DTS SPI driver to support DM/DTS. When such driver needs to work in both SPL and U-Boot proper, the distinction is needed in Kconfig (also if SPL version of the driver supports OF_PLATDATA). In the end of the day one would have to support following use cases (in single driver file - e.g. mxs_spi.c): - U-Boot proper driver supporting DT/DTS - U-Boot proper driver without DT/DTS support (deprecated) - SPL driver without DT/DTS support - SPL (and TPL) driver with DT/DTS (when the SoC has enough resources to run full blown DT/DTS) - SPL driver with DT/DTS and SPL_OF_PLATDATA (when one have constrained environment with no fitImage and OF_LIBFDT support). Some boards do require SPI support (with DM) in SPL (TPL) and some only have DM_SPI{_FLASH} defined to allow compiling SPL. This patch converts #ifdef CONFIG_DM_SPI* to #if CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(DM_SPI) and provides corresponding defines in Kconfig. Rename the existing 'dtimg' command to 'adtimg', in order to: - Suggest the Android origins and scope - Be consistent with the upcoming 'abootimg' command (naming suggested by Simon [*]) The change in _not_ backward compatible, but its benefits outweigh its downsides, given that we don't expect active users of 'dtimg' today. Perform the rename in several steps: 1. Rename *.c file and Kconfig symbol. This should allow 'git log --follow' to properly track the history of 'adtimg.c' 2. 's/dtimg/adtimg/g' in the internal namespace of 'adtimg.c' ELF comparison [**] before and after shows no functional change. - In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. 2019-11-20env: Add CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR symbolTom Rini1-0/+1
Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. 2019-10-11board: ti: am57xx-idk: Configure the CDCE913 clock synthesizerTero Kristo1-0/+2
AM57xx-IDK boards contain the CDCE913 clock synthesizer, and their reset crystal capacitance load value of 10pF is wrong leading into lost packets in certain networking tests.
