Separate CMD_FASTBOOT from FASTBOOT and move code and configuration to drivers/fastboot. Switch dependencies on FASTBOOT to USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT as anyone who wants FASTBOOT before this series wants USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT. Split USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT from FASTBOOT so they retain their existing behaviour. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. 2018-04-16part: Disable CONFIG_SPL_ISO_PARTITION by defaultAlexander Graf1-1/+0
We enabled CONFIG_ISO_PARTITION by default for distro boot, so that U-Boot could load distro images that usually get shipped as iso images. These images usually come with a board agnostic boot environment. However, there is very little point in having ISO support enabled (for anyone really) in SPL, as the whole idea of SPL is to load U-Boot proper which again is board specific. So the fact that we enable ISO support in U-Boot proper does not mean at all that we want ISO support in U-Boot SPL. Hence, let's remove the Kconfig dependency. We first introduce CONFIG_USE_BOOTCOMMAND, similar to CONFIG_USE_BOOTARGS. We then migrate CONFIG_BOOTCOMMAND for most CONFIG_DISTRO_DEFAULT users. In some cases platforms have a complex scheme around this usage, and these have been defered for the moment so that platform maintainers can work on a migration plan. 2017-07-11configs: am335x_evm: Enable FASTBOOT based on kconfigAlexandru Gagniuc1-0/+4
When CONFIG_CMD_FASTBOOT or CONFIG_USB_FUNCTION_FASTBOOT are defined in am335x_evm.h, a dependency on g_dnl.c is created. This in turn creates a dependency on having USB gadget enabled. As a result we can't create configs with USB gadget disabled. Since these CONFIG_ variables are now part of kconfig, move them to the board defconfigs, and out of am335x_evm.h. SPL_FIT obviously requires libfdt in SPL, so let Kconfig express that by selecting SPL_OF_LIBFDT. Also make the actual options that users want (SPL signature and SPL FIT loading) visible in the menu and let them select the SPL_FIT as a requirement. 2017-04-27ARM: omap2+: rename config to ARCH_OMAP2PLUS and consolidate KconfigMasahiro Yamada1-0/+1
In Linux, CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS is used for OMAP2 or later SoCs. Rename CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2 to CONFIG_ARCH_OMAP2PLUS to follow this naming. Move the OMAP2+ board/SoC choice down to mach-omap2/Kconfig to slim down the arch/arm/Kconfig level.
