2021-08-02global: Convert simple_strtoul() with decimal to dectoul()Simon Glass1-2/+2
It is a pain to have to specify the value 10 in each call. Add a new dectoul() function and update the code to use it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2021-08-02global: Convert simple_strtoul() with hex to hextoul()Simon Glass1-3/+3
It is a pain to have to specify the value 16 in each call. Add a new hextoul() function and update the code to use it. Add a proper comment to simple_strtoul() while we are here. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-05-18common: Drop log.h from common headerSimon Glass1-0/+1
Move this header out of the common header. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-05-18command: Remove the cmd_tbl_t typedefSimon Glass1-5/+7
We should not use typedefs in U-Boot. They cannot be used as forward declarations which means that header files must include the full header to access them. Drop the typedef and rename the struct to remove the _s suffix which is now not useful. This requires quite a few header-file additions. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-01-17common: Move the image globals into image.hSimon Glass1-0/+1
These three globals relate to image handling. Move them to the image header file. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2020-01-17image: Rename load_addr, save_addr, save_sizeSimon Glass1-4/+4
These global variables are quite short and generic. In fact the same name is more often used locally for struct members and function arguments. Add a image_ prefix to make them easier to distinguish. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2019-08-11common: Move gzip functions into a new gzip headerSimon Glass1-4/+4
As part of the effort to remove things from common.h, create a new header for the gzip functions. Move the function declarations to it and add missing documentation. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Simon Goldschmidt <simon.k.r.goldschmidt@gmail.com>

2018-12-04cmd: bmp: manage centered displayPatrick Delaunay1-5/+13
Allow to display BMP at the middle of the screen. 'm' means "middle" as it is done for the splashscreen variable: splashpos=m,m Signed-off-by: Patrick Delaunay <patrick.delaunay@st.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini1-2/+1
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>

2016-01-25Remove the cmd_ prefix from command filesSimon Glass1-0/+275
Now that they are in their own directory, we can remove this prefix. This makes it easier to find a file since the prefix does not get in the way.
