2017-10-12wandboard: Add support for the latest revd1 revisionFabio Estevam1-5/+103
Latest wandboard hardware revision is revd1, which brings the following new features: - PFUZE100 PMIC - AR8035 Ethernet PHY - Upgrade Wifi/BT chip to BCM4339/BCM43430. The detection mechanism is to probe the PMIC and when it is found, then the revision of the board is revd1. As the detection is done via PMIC, we need to print the board version at a later stage via CONFIG_DISPLAY_BOARDINFO_LATE and also need to disable CONFIG_DISPLAY_BOARDINFO, which is done much earlier. 2017-07-11Kconfig: Add CONFIG_SATA to enable SATASimon Glass1-1/+1

2016-11-29arm: imx: wandboard: fix compile error if CONFIG_VIDEO is deactivatedSven Ebenfeld1-0/+2
When I tried to deactivate VIDEO support for the Wandboard, it still tried to initialize the Framebuffer and so on. That is the reason for the added ifdefs. CONFIG_VIDEO is enabled in the configuration as default and therefore nothing changes for the default user. The structs mx6dl_i2c2_pad_info and mx6q_i2c2_pad_info are only available when CONFIG_IPUV3 are set and should not be tried to access, when that define is not defined. 2016-11-06wandboard: Make Ethernet functional againFabio Estevam1-0/+33
Since commit ce412b79e7255770 ("drivers: net: phy: atheros: add separate config for AR8031") ethernet does not work on mx6sabresd. This commit correctly assigns ar8031_config() as the configuration function for AR8031 in the same way as done in the Linux kernel. However, on wandboard design we need some additional configuration, such as enabling the 125 MHz AR8031 output that needs to be done in the board file. This also aligns with the same method that the kernel performs the AR8031 fixup in arch/arm/mach-imx/mach-imx6q.c. 2016-01-07wandboard: Simplify the Ethernet PHY configurationFabio Estevam1-34/+2
As per the AR8031 datasheet: "For a reliable power on reset, suggest to keep asserting the reset low long enough (10ms) to ensure the clock is stable and clock-to-reset 1ms requirement is satisfied." So do as suggested and also add a 100us delay after deasserting the reset line to guarantee that the PHY ID can be read correctly and the Atheros 8031 PHY driver can be loaded automatically. 2013-04-28imx: iomux-v3: Include PKE and PUE to pad control pull definitionsBenoît Thébaudeau1-9/+8
PUE requires PKE to mean something, as do pull values with PUE, so do not compell users to explicitly use PKE and PUE everywhere. This is also what is done on Linux and what has already been done for i.MX51. By the way, remove some unused pad control definitions. There is no change of behavior. Note that SPI_PAD_CTRL was defined by several boards with a pull value, but without PKE or PUE, which means that no pull was actually enabled in the pad. This might be a bug in those boards, but this patch does not change the behavior, so it just removes the meaningless pull value from those definitions. 2013-04-03mx6: Fix get_board_rev() for the mx6 solo caseFabio Estevam1-5/+0
When booting a Freescale kernel 3.0.35 on a Wandboard solo, the get_board_rev() returns 0x62xxx, which is not a value understood by the VPU (Video Processing Unit) library in the kernel and causes the video playback to fail. The expected values for get_board_rev are: 0x63xxx: For mx6quad/dual 0x61xxx: For mx6dual-lite/solo So adjust get_board_rev() accordingly and make it as weak function, so that we do not need to define it in every mx6 board file. 2013-04-03mmc: i.MX6: fsl_esdhc: Define maximum bus width supported by a boardAbbas Raza1-0/+2
Maximum bus width supported by some i.MX6 boards is not 8bit like others. In case where both host controller and card support 8bit transfers, they agree to communicate on 8bit interface while some boards support only 4bit interface. Due to this reason the mmc 8bit default mode fails on these boards. To rectify this, define maximum bus width supported by these boards (4bit). If max_bus_width is not defined, it is 0 by default and 8bit width support will be enabled in host capabilities otherwise host capabilities are modified accordingly. It is tested with a MMCplus card.
