2022-03-08board: .gitignore: replace dsdt.c by dsdt_generated.cPhilippe Reynes1-3/+3
Since commit 5d94cbd1dca7 ("scripts: Makefile.lib: generate dsdt_generated.c instead of dsdt.c"), the file generated is named dsdt_generated.c instead of dsdt.c. So all files .gitignore referencing dsdt.c should be upated with dsdt_generated.c. 2022-02-25scripts: Makefile.lib: generate dsdt_generated.c instead of dsdt.cPhilippe Reynes1-1/+1
There is a conflict between the static file lib/acpi/dsdt.c and the file dsdt.c generated dynamicaly by scripts/Makefile.lib. When a mrproper is done, the static file dsdt.c is removed. If a build with acpi enabled is launched after, the following error is raised: CC lib/acpi/acpi_table.o make[2]: *** No rule to make target 'lib/acpi/dsdt.asl', needed by 'lib/acpi/dsdt.c'. Stop. scripts/Makefile.build:394: recipe for target 'lib/acpi' failed To avoid such error, the generated file is named dsdt_generated.c instead of dstdt.c. 2020-09-01x86: intel: bayleybay: Remove dead codeAndy Shevchenko2-9/+1
start.S does nothing and can be safely removed. Makefile is still being used by the build system, so simply drop the rule from it. Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com>
2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini5-11/+5
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag and have introduced one. Signed-off-by: Tom Rini <trini@konsulko.com>
2017-08-01x86: kconfig: Let board select SPI flashBin Meng1-0/+1
Only a specific type of SPI flash exists on a board, having board Kconfig to select the SPI flash seems to make more sense. Other flash types are not necessary except coreboot, which implies all available flash drivers there. Signed-off-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
