Currently the following hang is observed when booting a imx6sx-sdb board: U-Boot 2020.01-rc5-00004-g643366bcd5 (Dec 19 2019 - 14:56:23 -0300) CPU: Freescale i.MX6SX rev1.0 996 MHz (running at 792 MHz) CPU: Extended Commercial temperature grade (-20C to 105C) at 32C Reset cause: POR Model: Freescale i.MX6 SoloX SDB RevB Board Board: MX6SX SABRE SDB revA DRAM: 1 GiB initcall sequence bffd8514 failed at call 87804cc0 (err=-19) ### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ### When pmic_get() is used with DM the first parameter must be the complete node name plus the unit address. Fix the pmic_get() parameter to fix the boot regression. Tested on a imx6sx-sdb and imx6q-sabresd boards. 2018-05-07SPDX: Convert all of our single license tags to Linux Kernel styleTom Rini46-94/+46
When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line) and with slightly different comment styles than us. In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style. This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag contents. 2018-01-23fsl: common: qixis: Add ifc and emmc switching via qixisAshish Kumar1-0/+22
Currently only SD, NAND can be secondary boot sources controlled by FPGA/CPLD via qixis commands. For SoC like LS1088 IFC-NOR can be secondary boot source, while QSPI-NOR is the primary. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_NAND CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_UBI CONFIG_ENV_IS_NOWHERE In fact this already exists for sunxi as a 'choice' config. However not all the choices are available in Kconfig yet so we cannot use that. It would lead to more than one option being set. In addition, one purpose of this series is to allow the environment to be stored in more than one place. So the existing choice is converted to a normal config allowing each option to be set independently. There are not many opportunities for Kconfig updates to reduce the size of this patch. This was tested with ./tools/moveconfig.py -i CONFIG_ENV_IS_IN_MMC And then manual updates. This is because for CHAIN_OF_TRUST boards they can only have ENV_IS_NOWHERE set, so we enforce that via Kconfig logic now. 2017-05-22lib: move hash CONFIG options to KconfigTom Rini1-0/+2
Commit 94e3c8c4fd7b ("crypto/fsl - Add progressive hashing support using hardware acceleration.") created entries for CONFIG_SHA1, CONFIG_SHA256, CONFIG_SHA_HW_ACCEL, and CONFIG_SHA_PROG_HW_ACCEL. However, no defconfig has migrated to it. Complete the move by first adding additional logic to various Kconfig files to select this when required and then use the moveconfig tool. In many cases we can select these because they are required to implement other drivers. We also correct how we include the various hashing algorithms in SPL. - Add SD secure boot target for ls1043ardb. - Implement FSL_LSCH2 specific spl_board_init() to setup CAAM stream ID and corresponding stream ID in SMMU. - Change the u-boot size defined by a macro for copying the main U-Boot by SPL to also include the u-boot Secure Boot header size as header is appended to u-boot image. So header will also be copied from SD to DDR. - CONFIG_MAX_SPL_SIZE is limited to 90KB. SPL is copied to OCRAM (128K) where 32K are reserved for use by boot ROM and 6K for secure boto header. - Error messages during SPL boot are limited to error code numbers instead of strings to reduce the size of SPL image.
