2017-06-16powerpc, 5xxx, 512x: remove support for mpc5xxx and mpc512xHeiko Schocher1-181/+0
There was for long time no activity in the mpx5xxx area. We need to go further and convert to Kconfig, but it turned out, nobody is interested anymore in mpc5xxx, so remove it. Signed-off-by: Heiko Schocher <hs@denx.de>
2016-05-17dm: usb: Drop the get_dev() functionSimon Glass1-1/+1
This function is implemented by the legacy block functions now. Drop it. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org>
2016-03-14dm: part: Rename some partition functionsSimon Glass1-1/+1
Rename three partition functions so that they start with part_. This makes it clear what they relate to. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Tested-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
2016-03-14dm: Drop the block_dev_desc_t typedefSimon Glass1-1/+1
Use 'struct' instead of a typdef. Also since 'struct block_dev_desc' is long and causes 80-column violations, rename it to struct blk_desc. Signed-off-by: Simon Glass <sjg@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Bin Meng <bmeng.cn@gmail.com> Tested-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@nvidia.com>
2015-08-14cm5200: fix FAT function prototypesStephen Warren1-4/+2
Remove FAT function prototypes from the cm5200 firmware update code, and include the relevant headers instead. This exposes the fact that the custom prototyoe for do_fat_read() in this file was incorrect. Rather than simply fixing the call-site, replace do_fat_read() with fat_exists(). This removes the only use of do_fat_read() outside of the FAT code. Signed-off-by: Stephen Warren <swarren@wwwdotorg.org>

2010-11-28do_bootm: unify duplicate prototypesMike Frysinger1-1/+0
The duplication of the do_bootm prototype has gotten out of hand, and they're pretty much all outdated (wrt constness). Unify them all in command.h. Signed-off-by: Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
2010-07-04Make sure that argv[] argument pointers are not modified.Wolfgang Denk1-4/+4
The hush shell dynamically allocates (and re-allocates) memory for the argument strings in the "char *argv[]" argument vector passed to commands. Any code that modifies these pointers will cause serious corruption of the malloc data structures and crash U-Boot, so make sure the compiler can check that no such modifications are being done by changing the code into "char * const argv[]". This modification is the result of debugging a strange crash caused after adding a new command, which used the following argument processing code which has been working perfectly fine in all Unix systems since version 6 - but not so in U-Boot: int main (int argc, char **argv) { while (--argc > 0 && **++argv == '-') { /* ====> */ while (*++*argv) { switch (**argv) { case 'd': debug++; break; ... default: usage (); } } } ... } The line marked "====>" will corrupt the malloc data structures and usually cause U-Boot to crash when the next command gets executed by the shell. With the modification, the compiler will prevent this with an error: increment of read-only location '*argv' N.B.: The code above can be trivially rewritten like this: while (--argc > 0 && **++argv == '-') { char *arg = *argv; while (*++arg) { switch (*arg) { ... 2007-08-03cm1_qp1 -> cm5200: single U-Boot image for modules from the cm5200 family.Bartlomiej Sieka1-0/+200
Add the ability for modules from the Schindler cm5200 family to use a single U-Boot image: - rename cm1_qp1 to cm5200 - add run-time module detection - parametrize SDRAM configuration according to the module we are running on Few minor, board-specific fixes included in this patch: - better MAC address handling - updated default environment ('update' command uses +{filesize} now) - improved error messages in the auto-update code - allow booting U-Boot from RAM (CFG_RAMBOOT) Signed-off-by: Grzegorz Bernacki <gjb@semihalf.com> Signed-off-by: Piotr Kruszynski <ppk@semihalf.com> Signed-off-by: Bartlomiej Sieka <tur@semihalf.com>
